This is exceptional blues the way it was meant to be played. This album rocks and provides enough power to make any blues fan happy. It will help light the fire on your grill and spice up any party on the back porch. With the help of guests like John Colianni, Angel Rose, Henry Butler, Don Lopez, and Eric R. Durham you are left with nothin' missing.
From the moment you put this disc in the player it rocks. The keys, drums, bass and other instruments only enhance what 'Murch' is already delivering through the chords. Powers' rendition of Hendrix' famous 'Spanish Castle Magic' is a highlight, as is the blues classic 'Shake Your Money Maker'. 'I Ain't Superstitious' is a wonderful song like a meandering river full of life. The title track is excellent with it entertaining keys.
