Signal Aurora are a 5-piece Indie/Rock band hailing from Garswood, a small village near Wigan.

Inspired by the likes of Feeder, Sigur Ros and Snowpatrol; childhood friends David Brown (songwriter, Vocals, Guitars) and Alan Roberts (Guitars, BVs) formed under the name Signal Aurora in 2009. Throughout 2009 DB and AR hit the recording studio to record the pick of their songs, shaping and developing their sound - Signal Aurora was born! Melancholic Anthemic Indie/Rock through and through!!! In 2010 Liam Clough (Drums) and Dave Fairhurst (Bass) joined the fold and the full band was complete.

With Gary O’Brien, a regular at The Lowry, providing keys, 2011 was spent perfecting the live performance with gigs around the North West including slots at both Haigh Fest and The Cavern Club. Their debut mini-album “A Flickering of Light” was released in July 2011 to coincide with their Haigh Fest performance.
The start of 2012 has been spent in the studio writing and recording new material for their upcoming EP. The band are now looking for gigging opportunities to showcase this new work and expand their fan base.

Broken Parachute are a contemporary rock band that takes a classic rock feel into the future. Fronted by Marcus Taylor (guitars, bass) and Ben Bell (vocals, keys), their debut album delivers track after track of pulsing hook-inflected rock, featuring compelling lyrics and dynamic musical interplay.

Peter co-founded the group Genesis in 1966 at school. He went on to make 7 albums with Genesis. He left in 1975, but returned to music a year later, since when he has made 11 solo albums. His film soundtrack works include Birdy (1984); The Last Temptation of Christ (1989); Rabbit Proof Fence (2002).
