 My style is a mix of alternative R&B mixed with a little tribal and topped off with a little soul. 

’Straight outta Rotterdam’ is wat Joseph K. Antonio, als artiest gekend als Jay Walker, zal antwoorden als je vraagt naar zijn geboorteplaats. Al van kinds af aan speelde muziek onbewust een invloed in zijn leven in de Ijsselmondse stadsdeel. Van de Congolese gospel van zijn ouders tot de grijsgedraaide Hip-Hop/R&B en Soul cd’s in de kamer van zijn zus. Het droeg allemaal bij in de veelzijdigheid in zijn smaak en muziek. 

In 2006 ruilde hij zijn vertrouwde stekje in de Havenstad in voor de zuiderburen van Nederland, België. Daar leerde hij collega rapper DC kennen en bereikten tesamen enige bekendheid in de Aalsterse buurten met ‘InterGALACTISCH’. Rappen groeide al snel van een hobby naar een passie. 

Later ging Jay in zee met DreamTeamCollective. Uit de vruchtbare samenwerking ontstonden er tracks zoals ‘I Don’t Like (Remix)’ die inmiddels al meer dan 40 000 keer is beluisterd op YouTube. Ook behoorde hij tot de laatste 3 van de Betong Hip-Hop festival wedstrijd in 2014. Zijn volwassen stemgeluid en ingewikkelde woordspelingen op beats van Kai Wén, winnaar van De Nieuwe Lichting 2017(Shay, Kaaris) waren elementen waarin Jay zich al snel onderscheidde van de rest. 

Toch snakte de lyrische woordkunstenaar naar meer. Na de bescheiden buzz die de jonge heren van DTC creëerden in korte tijd, gingen ze allen hun eigen pad op. Zijn eerste stap als soloartiest was het podium delen met Young Nation 01(Jeunes Boss) als openingsact voor de Stikstof Releaseparty.  

Momenteel is de Rotterdammer overdag actief als student in het Brusselse en in de late nachten werkend aan nieuw materiaal.

Bryan du Chatenier (25) or better known as Trobi is a DJ/Producer from the Netherlands. Trobi became the youngest artist ever who was signed to Spinnin’ Records at the age of 16. This all resulted in multi-platinum and golden awarded collaborations for artists such as Snelle, Ronnie Flex, Sevn Alias, Kevin, Mula B, Emma Heesters, Lijpe, and many more. Trobi also worked with several big international artists like Karol G (COL), Vegedream (FR), Morad (SP), Lacrim (FR), Jay1 (UK), Yxng Bane (UK), UZI (FR), Dutchavelli (UK) and many more. By the end of March 2022 Trobi released his dutch album with all the biggest artists from The Netherlands on it including hits as ‘Einstein’ ft. Louivoss & Mula B and ‘Okee Shordy’ ft. Ronnie Flex, Chivv & ADF Samski and the album went #1 in the Spotify Dutch album charts.
 
Trobi also released an official remix for The Chainsmokers their single 'Sick Boy' and his official remix for Diplo's 'Color Blind' with Trippie Red and Trobi also did an official remix with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike of the international hit record ‘Instagram’. Over the past few years, he continuously toured many festivals, including playing at Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Woo Hah, and several China tours.
