Trampoliner (@trampolinersthlm) are proud to present the french power duo Kimshies (@kimshies). Peo Watson and Bijou Williams have known each other for more than 20 years now. In 2004, they produced "Chicago 72" together, releasing it on vinyl only. 500 copies went through different record stores and were being passed around until May 2018 when the public discovered it during Solomun's ‘Cercle' session in the magnificent Théâtre Antique d'Orange. The exposure & irony of the history pushed Peo & Bijou to return to the studio once more, and by the looks of it, they are here to stay. Having already had releases on renowned labels such as Nein, Aeon and Duro to name a few.

On TRAMPA009 they pick up where they last left off, with two proper Kimshies-style tracks to please any dancefloor. Teaming up with their countrymen and respected duo You Man for the title- and first track, turning it into a proper dancefloor blockbuster. The second track is no exception, letting their unique grunge-vibe shine through once again, leaving the listener longing for more. To complete this release, we have no other than Vilnius finest Roe Deers and Mexican sensation Mufti (@muftimx) on remix duties.

We’re delighted to welcome Italian producer Alberto Melloni to Ulla Records! With his EP “Scaleno”, he displays the vast array of his production game, going from new beat to Italo and synth-wave through 3 original tracks, supported by two remixes from Tech Support and Plexi Glass.

The eponymous opening track, “Scaleno”, sounds like an ode to the new beat era, with its punching drum beat, wild sound effects and slamming stabs. Then comes “Blonde”, entwining synths and pads, laid over a heavy rhythm section, the soundtrack to your night spree through the city. Finally, we have an uplifting ending with “False Piste”, an explosion of vibrant melodies, navigating somewhere between Italo and Synthwave.

We also wanted ace remixers on board, so we asked London-based Tech Support to put his magic hands on “Blonde”. He delivered an intense, heavy, club-ready remix with its hypnotic groove and dreamy layers of synths.

Then we have newcomers Plexi Glass, hailing from Rennes, who decided to pace it up on “False Piste”, unleashing frantic drums and galloping basslines, making for a supercharged remix.
