So tired of fake flowers on graves
I’ll lay down my gun once my work here is done,
 until then I’m a man of the lead
‘Til ignorant leaders stop fucking them dreamers
And pumping their shit in our heads

Then I’ll return triumphant 
Despite all the wasps before us
The marshes will wash off all of our unclean
Petulant thoughts of decadence

At times I get reckless, sometimes I get mean   
But I ain't never been one to suffer no fool
I ain’t quite religious lord if I did pray
I’d have God take his followers home

Lost my heading in August, knelt down in the sawdust
That buried the grown where you made
If I could go back and listen 
I’d take in that wisdom 
You worked your whole life to attain

It pains me to know the two best men I’ve known
