Wanted to remake this beat in the style the original was done in--minus the premade DnB loops. I wanted to do it my way this time since I've gotten a bit better at making DnB (though I wonder if this could even be considered DnB since it's only at 90 BPM...) Anyway enjoy!

Wanted to try something a bit different this time around and I wanted to try making a remix of a theme from Iruna Online, an MMORPG that I like to play on Android. Enjoy!

Finally finished this beat! Been working on this one for about a week (technically for 6 years since I originally came up with it back in 2015 but meh!) Been playing a lot more Iruna lately and been in the mood to making remixes to my favorite map themes.

I guess this would be the (newest)successor to Cryogen, a beat I had made back in 2017. I'm slightly disappointed in this beat though, my dreaded mental block came in while I was making this and I just couldn't get it to how I wanted it to go so there were only very minor changes from Beta to Official version. Oh well, I still like how it sounds though. Enjoy!

Oh? Wasn't expecting me were ya? I wasn't expecting me either but my muse finally came home and gave me some inspiration. I guess this is the real end of the year beat. Enjoy and see you next year!

Edit 11/22/22: I didn't say at the time but I know why I called this one "Focus." I don't know if I projected it well but I hear the main guitar/bass line melody as representing my positive and optimistic viewpoint of my future while the high pianos represent my sadness and uncertainty of it. The synth and sax duo are to represent confusion and doubt and finally the main guitar synth is to represent my focus, to never give in and to keep going. In the second half, the piano/synth section is to represent how I want to give up and don't want to get back up even though I know I have to. And then it finally ends with the same guitar/bass line melody to re-establish that even though I want to give up, I know I won't and know that I will succeed.

Had a burst of inspiration (thanks Teowarior) and made this. It is VERY much inspired from Ape Escape (like most of my beats). I could see this fitting in nicely with the DnB used in PS1 games back in the 90s and early 00s. Anyway, enjoy!

Hey, wake up. New beat is up. I wanted to make something a little more true to "Jungle" DnB so that's what I did. I also just felt like using ALL the vocal clips I have. Oh? K making another beat less than a month after the last one? Ridiculous!

Anyway, wanted to try something a bit different than all of the 90s styled Jungle beats I've been making lately...while still staying in the 90s. So I got another "Urban Jungle" beat here.

The sound clips are from Gangsta Pat's "Killa, Pt 2", a song made back in 1995. It's a pretty intense song, to say the least. There are also a few other clips that I used that, to my knowledge, have unknown origins.

Oh, also I.B.Y. is an acronym for "I'm Black Ya'll." It's an inside joke for my friends and I taken from a scene from the movie "CB4" (It's a funny movie btw, you should watch it if you haven't already!) You can thank @ShaolinKingx for that portion of the name....

The beat honestly does have a deeper meaning behind it but I don't feel that it's necessary to explain it.

Also I feel like I shouldn't have to say this but I don't condone nor rep anything said in this beat. The lyrics just sounded cool with the beat I was making.

The I.B.Y In My Mind

Heyo, K here (though my Iruna brethren know me as Lurker K), I've been going through a bit of a creative block so to help with it I've recreated a theme from the MMORPG, Iruna Online. Episode 3 really has some good tunes but a favorite of mine is definitely the theme for the Food Storage map (plus I kept hearing it after farming Iniliba for so long...)

Food Storage (Recreation)

Wow...it's been a while hasn't it? I've been dealing with an extreme case of creative block and nothing I've tried to make has been sounding "right" to me so I took a bit of a break. Randomly, yesterday night my muse woke up and was like "Hey K, I know you just put a notice in your bio that you were going to be on hiatus but I got a beat." and I was like "OH COME ON!!" This definitely isn't my best work but I'm glad I was actually able to finally put something out.

Anyway, this beat is partially inspired by an old ruins-like beat that I have on my beta account (https://soundcloud.com/kbeforethecloud94/abandoned-beat-2022-dnb-ruin-type-beat if you want to listen to it.)

Feels like a theme from a fighting game, I really like how this one turned out! The "Good Morning" soundbit is from the announcer of Tekken Tag Tournament (Arcade Version)

Note: This piece uses a few DnB loops that I messed with a bit, can't take credit for that, still sounds good though!

Update 03-03-24: Good Morning actually is not my first attempt at making DnB, on my Beta account you can find "Lost (2017)", which was my actual first attempt (outside of test beats). 

I originally made Good Morning because I wanted to make a beat that sounded like it could be in a fighting game, specifically in a early Tekken game like TTT1 (this is also where both the announcer soundbit that I use and where the name (obviously) comes from.

Edit: 03-03-24: Just wanted to add this little fun fact about this theme. This was originally supposed to be a remix to Blue Ridge Zone from Sonic Chronicles: The Brotherhood (that's where the name also comes from). Eventually, it just became a beat of it's own though so I stopped attempting to remix.

Bright Future (Neos 2020)

Just got a bit of inspiration to make a soft and short DnB beat. Been really trying to get better at making these only using my own beats rather than premade loops since I really love the genre and would like to transition into making more (see what I did there?) Plus, making the beat myself just adds a bit more of a unique touch in my opinion. Got another project in the works right now that currently has an Alpha version posted on my alt account. Anyway enjoy!

Transition

I'm a novice that likes to make beats/melodies (primarily DnB and Hip Hop beats, but I may venture into different genres from time to time). 

I'm pretty casual about my account but I try to make at least 1 beat per month, though, because my creative process is really "serendipitous", that doesn't always happen...

Fun Facts about me:

-I started making music with PSP Rhythm back in 2010 (and I still use the soundkits on some of my beats today!) Though, these days I use FL Studio 21.

-By far, my favorite VSTs to use are Nexus4 and Monopoly (though, SurgeXT has been climbing that list too.)

-I'm completely self-taught and have absolutely NO concept of sound theory, just years and years of trial and error. I really just make stuff that sounds good to me.

-My style is very much influenced by Soichi Terada, the composer for Ape Escape 1 and 3. If you ever listen to my beats and wonder why they sound so familiar, that's why!

-I'm also partially influenced by Rukunetsu, Marcell2aG (Negrosaki) and Amprsand. I love the music that they all make and tried to blend the parts of their styles that I liked into my own. You should really check these guys out, they're awesome!
