Wow...it's been a while hasn't it? I've been dealing with an extreme case of creative block and nothing I've tried to make has been sounding "right" to me so I took a bit of a break. Randomly, yesterday night my muse woke up and was like "Hey K, I know you just put a notice in your bio that you were going to be on hiatus but I got a beat." and I was like "OH COME ON!!" This definitely isn't my best work but I'm glad I was actually able to finally put something out.

Anyway, this beat is partially inspired by an old ruins-like beat that I have on my beta account (https://soundcloud.com/kbeforethecloud94/abandoned-beat-2022-dnb-ruin-type-beat if you want to listen to it.)

P.S.: Oh yeah, and it's time for my yearly refresh. For 2023-2024 I'm going with Filmore, I actually really liked the show and really wished it got another season..

The Daydream REM-S is a responsive and powerful touchscreen smartphone launched on August 11, 2011.

It was introduced with LucidAndroid software (a custom Android 2.3 distribution by Daydream), a micro-USB charging port, a 3.5mm headphone port, and a microSD slot for additional storage.

The REM-S features a 1.4 GHz dual-core "Clare" processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.6-inch OLED screen display, and a 10-megapixel camera with flash and 1080p full high-definition video recording.

I'm a novice that likes to make beats/melodies (primarily DnB and Hip Hop beats, but I may venture into different genres from time to time). 

I'm pretty casual about my account but I try to make at least 1 beat per month, though, because my creative process is really "serendipitous", that doesn't always happen...

Fun Facts about me:

-I started making music with PSP Rhythm back in 2010 (and I still use the soundkits on some of my beats today!) Though, these days I use FL Studio 21.

-By far, my favorite VSTs to use are Nexus4 and Monopoly (though, SurgeXT has been climbing that list too.)

-I'm completely self-taught and have absolutely NO concept of sound theory, just years and years of trial and error. I really just make stuff that sounds good to me.

-My style is very much influenced by Soichi Terada, the composer for Ape Escape 1 and 3. If you ever listen to my beats and wonder why they sound so familiar, that's why!

-I'm also partially influenced by Rukunetsu, Marcell2aG (Negrosaki) and Amprsand. I love the music that they all make and tried to blend the parts of their styles that I liked into my own. You should really check these guys out, they're awesome!
