Okay so, The "Code:" brand pretty much started as a joke among my friends and I. Pretty much when one of us would choose to eat something unhealthy (fast food, deep fried stuff, etc) one of us would say something like "That better be codename for a Salad!" I then got the idea (with help) to name certain beats after different codes. It started with Code: S, the "s" meaning Salad. Then Code F, meaning Fat, Code: SB, meaning Sky Burrito, Code LT, meaning Land Taco and finally EX-F, meaning Extra Fat. It really is nothing but a dumb joke.

Edit: Code S.E. is Sea Enchilada and Code H.B. is Hot Butter. Code F.Q. is Fire Quesadilla. Code H.B. is Hot Butter.

Ahh, first beat of the year! I wanted to start off by remaking a beat that I was disappointed in when I originally made it, being Code F. Really like how this turned out, hope I can continue to improve myself further!

Edit: Just noticed that the 808 snare @2:33 is actually unintentionally offbeat, still sounds good to me so I'm just gonna call it a serendipitous inclusion and leave it at that!

I'm a fledgling...composer? artist? Whatever you want to call me that makes primarily "experimental" Jungle and Hip Hop beats as a hobby (though, I sometimes delve into other genres occasionally). Most of the beats that I make are pretty serendipitous and spontaneous, leaving me to have bouts of creative blocks, unfortunately. I have no concept or knowledge of sound theory or whatever, I just make stuff that sounds cool to me!

Everything I make is free to download and use for any non-commercial purpose, the only thing I'd like is a shout-out!

I started making beats back in late 2008 on Garageband, moved on to PSP Rhythm in late 2009 and then to FL Studio in late 2012. Has it really been that long...? Man, I'm getting old.

I'm influenced mostly by a mix of the hip hop/rap beats I heard as a kid back in the late 90s/early 2000s, games that I played during that time and Soichi Terada (the guy who made the music for Ape Escape)

Secondary influences have to definitely be Rukunetsu, Marcell2aG (Negrosaki) (been a fan of both since 2009!) and Amprsand (been a fan since 2010!). Another realization is that NomedBeats (been a fan since 2014!) is another influence and maybe even more prominent than the others, lol.
