So many people pointed out that I should mix these together and after hearing the original, I had to agree! Definitely two themes that were made to come together as a mashup.

On That Green Hill

This is the Stage 13 Encounter theme from Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, brought up-to-date as if the game was remastered for modern platforms. Those dopey duncebots couldn't do anything right, therefore Dr. Robotnik has to do his own dirty work and blend those beans!

Using Brave of Puyo Puyo as the basis for this encounter theme adds to the tension, with the arrangement paying homage to Brave whilst retaining its independency from the original.

After seeing a few comments on YouTube with this theme saying this sounds like something from the 'Thomas' series, I thought it was time to try and bring it to reality. The bouncy rhythm and repetitive backing chords do remind you of something from Thomas though. I did use the original percussion as a sample as I think it's fantastic and really packs a punch to the original.
