Oh, the *lushness*!  Instantly drawn in, instantly immersed, instantly captivated!  I had to check this out because I'm sort of clock-obsessed (using vintage clockwork ticks and bells as percussion in my own recordings).  An outpouring, a blaze of sound!  In the 2:40 area of the song, there's that pitch-shifting that is reminiscent of a theremin.  Wow!  Layer after sonic layer, all sublimely complementing each other.  Big bravos!

Wonderful collab: Jano and the Electronix composed and played the music. He wrote the lyrics a while ago. This pearl was waiting to be found! Mare E Monti est le fruit de la collaboration entre deux musiciens insulaires (La Corse et l'Île de La Réunion).
Sur une idée originale de David de BOISVILLIERS et une mélodie de Jean-Marc ANTONI, ce deuxième opus, voyage de 7 minutes environ, est en fait est une succession de quatre atmosphères. Vous irez à la découverte de ces îles en passant de la mer aux sommets, en parcourant les sentiers et la forêt.

Vous commencerez cette découverte par le bord de mer, puis vous emprunterez un sentier qui vous emmènera loin du tumulte de la ville. Vous arriverez à l'orée d'une forêt avec ses couleurs, sa lumière et aussi sa fraîcheur. Vous serez alors récompensés par l'arrivée au sommet où vous serez au dessus des nuages, proches des cieux et gouterez enfin à la plénitude et à la sérénité.

Composition--The Eclectic Collective 
  This song began with Josh coming up with the bass line and accompanying guitar chords that make up that part of the rhythm section. Ken was next to add his funky drums, thus completing the rhythm section. JJ also added to the rhythm, however, with his driving clavichord, soon after. He also added the trippy theremin you hear in the break part, too. Chris added some far out guitar parts that fill in the sound throughout, too. Mark then jumped in and she some of the synth you hear in the break part, too. Stephen came along to complete the sound with his cunning banjo, as well as fiery guitar in the break part. He also produced and mixed this superbly as always for us. 
  This is another purely Eclectic Collective production, and almost of us were able to add our voices to this, except Tez and The Mysterious Decibel. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating

image: actually, the device depicted - called a multimemo - before the image was distorted, that is - is included in creating this soundscape, which was somewhat inspired by and refers to elo-covers ....  although those are quite different .... the cover for an album called 'out of the blue'' and the  cover for an album  a friend understood to mean "disco - very". He was a genius musician who already earned an entertainer's income while going to middle school in the 1970s  ... thanks to his hammond and his talent. Only in later years did I understand myself....  that the syncretism of 'disc', 'discovery' and the images of ali baba and a uap is an astonishing feat in itself. copyright jo richter.
