Argy biography 

Hailing from South Wales, Argy UK is a DJ and producer that has honed his sound organically and with integrity over almost two decades. 

Influenced by the cross-genre greats and turntablist heroes, Argy’s style is unique in both energy and technical wizardary. 

After being hailed as one to watch through BBC Radio One’s ‘In New DJs We Trust’, Argy rapidly advanced through the UK techno and harder dance scene as well as gaining recognition across European stages, including Tomorrowland and Defqon 1.

Today Argy is a growing, evolving organism of an artist, hell bent on retaining individuality and pushing boundaries. 

There aren’t many DJs that can balance technical prowess alongside a performance style that is always authentic, and enthralling every time. 

As a master of mash-ups, he blends exclusive edits with pinpoint accuracy, with technical trickery and intelligent effects. 

He thrives on creating unforgettable sets that are defined by experience rather than genre.

Argy is excelling as a producer, with EPs released on Autektone (T78) and Kneaded Pains (Dense & Pika)

His productive style sets him apart yet again. His tracks are intelligent and are diverse in style, which is proving impact on dancefloors globally and support through some of the biggest hitters in techno and beyond.

Being one of the most in-demand Techno DJs of our times, Ben Klock needs little introduction. His name has been closely associated with Berlin’s legendary club Berghain since 2005. His monthly residency has formed the backdrop to his international success, providing an invaluable platform for his ability to create a room rather than just play to it.

Much of his early career was marked by marathon sets – a signature that played a considerable role in nurturing his skills and reputation – but even the more compressed sets he shares today evidence an intricate narrative and sense of flow that defines him as a DJ. It was these inherent abilities that led him to compile the fabric 66 compilation in 2012, before winning the BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year award in 2015.

His releases on Ostgut Ton have become landmarks in the imprint’s history. 2009’s “Dawning”, the first of his collaborations with Marcel Dettmann kickstarted the label itself and remains a stand-out track in its discography. Another release of particular note is the Before One EP including “Subzero”, which many techno lovers still refer to as their gateway track into the whole genre itself. For many, however, it is his album One (2009) that best captures Klock’s talents as a producer. His skills as a remixer have also seen him rework tracks by a wide variety of artists, including Kerri Chandler, Depeche Mode, Robert Hood and Kenny Larkin.

Additionally, Klock curates with great passion his own label Klockworks, founded in 2006. With releases from DVS1, Stef Mendesidis, The Advent, Sterac, Etapp Kyle, Temudo and many more Klockworks became a synonym for unique, high quality Techno.

In 2017 Ben started his own event series PHOTON which is a unique concept show that blends light, architecture and music. Since then he toured PHOTON at special venues in major cities around the world such as Printworks (London), Gashouder (Amsterdam), Arca (Sao Paolo), to name a few. It quickly became a new standard for audio visual electronic music events. In 2023 the project returns after a pandemic induced break with a brand new visual and artistic concept.

Connor Okeefe is a rising Hard Dance DJ & Producer from South Wales whose high-octane sets and refined production have quickly positioned him as one to watch. 

Beginning his journey behind the decks at the age of five, Connor has built a sound defined by powerful kicks, precise transitions, and relentless energy tailored for dance floors. 

Only in his teens, his music has earned support by the likes of Sara Landry, TNT, Darren Styles, Restricted & Nico Moreno while playing alongside some of the biggest artists in the scene like Amelie Lens, Kobosil and Azyr.

Having previously toured and released under different guises and styles, GAWP is certainly no stranger to the music industry... 

As a result of a lifetime in the studio perfecting his craft and being mindful to only put out music of the highest standard, GAWP has already released a string of tracks on Mixmag’s ‘Label Of The Decade’ Dirtybird, alongside a number of highly respected imprints including Toolroom, Elrow, Incorrect, In:rotation, Night Bass and Sink or Swim. 

GAWP’s productions consistently gain support from a vast spectrum of established artists and peers encompassing the likes of Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Fatboy Slim, Chris Lake, Fisher, Idris Elba, Mark Knight, Walker and Royce, John Summit and Kyle Watson. 

This support across the board has quite rightly translated into DJ shows the world over. From previous tours in the US and Australia to regular events throughout Europe, 

GAWP has consistently proven himself on the circuit. Tipped as DJ Mag’s “One To Watch” and the direct support act for Oliver Heldens and Gene Farris on their respective tours, GAWP is able to provide accompaniment to a wide range of DJ’s whilst never failing to showcase his signature, unorthodox sound.
