Here's something I did while on my travels in Colombia and Brazil. 

Faze Action are an act I have followed ever since I first fell in love with In The Trees back in the 90s. The Brothers Faze - Robin and Simon - are brilliant musicians, producers and DJs and top gentleman to boot. I am proud to call them both amigos these days. 

This track Magic Touch has been in my bag since I first got sent it...I think it is one of the best original disco tracks I have heard for years. However from the first time I heard the original I had this idea in my head to knock out a 80s style dub version like you always used to get on the flip side with short sections of the track and mega delays riding over the top etc. A stripped down affair for El Club. So I am pleased to have pulled it off and delighted that they will be releasing it on vinyl in a month or so.

The first installment of Balans Records in 2016 brings the debut of young, talented Italian artist, Drafted, to the Dutch label.
Beautifully opening the EP, 'Frames from the Lake' fills the air with a thick suspense, reminiscent of a mystical fairytale before 'Frequency Graven' dives straight into a persistent kick and coordinated with fluttering chords.
On the flip side, 'Shaded Impacted' delivers a deeper bass which introduces a progression into a climax of heavenly dissonance and relentless hi-hats. 'Vortex Empire' on the other hand features contradictory rhythms which dance atop stirring atmospheres. 
Each track is able to emphasize that naturally opposites do attract as the confronting rhythms compliment any dark dance floor.

My name is of no concern, the producers and their music I follow are!

I'm constantly in search of trax that are special, very much worth listening to but for some reason get little attention.
Ok, I'm talking about underground music for a select audience in search of unknown gems but without people knowing, hearing & recognising a track as a real gem, it would anonymously float into never-never-heard-of-land for eternity.

I hope I can make people aware through SoundCloud of my suggestions...trax, producers, labels that deserve attention, appreciation & full support.
If I'm even able to convince only one, then my with love out of love for the music time spend, matters as a small part of my enormous respect towards those who enriched my musical "hear-ledge base".
