Here is the Ha - Ze Factory's remix of the track 'I Try To Talk To You' which is co-written by the excellent John Grant. The track is taken from the forthcoming album 'The Feast Of The Broken Heart' which was released on the 26th May.

The first vocal collaboration of the new album's recording sessions, John's sexy tomcat voice and lyrical ability for translating hardship into elegance lent themselves greatly to the new album.

Andy Butler explains: "I asked John to dig deep with his lyrical contribution. I had no idea he would dig so deep. He tackled the story of becoming HIV positive, and while I mentioned to him that he did not need to go there if he was not comfortable, in that beautifully punky, spirited and courageous way he has about him, he told me that was what the song was going to be about. What came of it is an elegant song featuring John singing and playing his heart out.”

'I Try To Talk To You' was released with remixes on the 9th June.

For his DJ-Kicks Mix Compilation on !K7, Motor City Drum Ensemble aka Danilo Plessow reworked "Le Cortège Et Course" by the French film music composer Philippe Sarde in a future techno style. The orginal track comes from the 1972 film "Cesar et Rosalie" starring Romy Schneider and Yves Montand. This is the exclusive full length version which can only be found on the double vinyl LP of the MCDE DJ-Kicks out on !K7 July 2011.

Haze Factory may not be a familiar name to many outside of in-the-know appreciators, but the duo (comprised of Viennese producers Philipp Haffner & Constantin Zeileissen) is currently hard at work with Andy Butler writing the new Hercules And Love Affair album. As evidence that this is something to be excited about, we have their DJ-Kicks exclusive track "A Bit of Redemption." "They made a very Gherkin sounding song," says Butler, "with Detroit-y snare bashes, and very Wild Pitch-y sounding stabs." The track fits perfectly amidst the 90's house classics and classic-minded current productions that make up the mix. DJ-Kicks will be out November 13th in the US with an international release date of October 29th.

I wrote this song with my friend DJ Whitney Fierce. She is a great dj, and very knowledgable about dance music from many cultures. She also rocks food coloring for hair dye, which makes her very tasty in my book because it makes me think of Mink Stole, a great actress from Baltimore in some of John Water's films. This song lies somewhere between Stock Aitken and Waterman and Manchester's Hacienda sound, while Whitney sounds very Bananarama on it. Mark Pistel busted out his E- Max on this recording with some original samples he compiled in 91, so that made us all dance in the studio. - Andy Butler

After a great success obtained by the first ep of Bunte Bummler, it's time to present a very expected release in the darkest label of Suruba family. We are talking about the remixes of "The Hunger", the main track (released in March of this year) by the German duo Bunte Bummler, with the collaboration of the German Daniel Wilde.
For this occasion we are very proud to count for the first time in Suruba X with two major producers who we deeply admire; the Valencian AFFKT and the Greek Berlin-based Siopis.

Fabian Winkels and Manuel Vobis are Bunte Bummler a very young couple of German producers who made themselves known with an ep on 8Bit Records. From now on they’ve regularly collaborated in Suruba X, Cecille, Mono Records and 8Bit again. 

In the original we found an interesting collaboration with Daniel Wilde, a regular of Souvenir Records and who sang in the last album of their owners, Tiefschwarz.

With an exquisite taste and a perfect Suruba X taste, we find the first of two remixes
signed by the Spanish AFFKT. After several years releasing on labels like Mobilee, Buzzin Fly, Rekids, Skint, Rebirth, Cecille, Suara, Darkroom Dubs, OFF, Vakant, Mothership and his own label Sincopat ... words aren’t enough to describe the quality of this super remix.

For the second remix a regular of Get Physical, the Greek Siopis. More than 16 releases on the Berlin label let clear his way to produce, where he will soon release his new album. He’s been a producer we’ve been looking for a long time, mainly because his tracks represent exactly the "vibe" that Suruba X is looking for.

Although he already left us his remix in the original March release, the London-based Mexican Betoko, creator of one of the summer  tracks "Raining Again" and producer for labels like Diynamic, Supernature or Get Physical, has been encouraged to edit the original and he presents us an instrumental version of the remix

Finally, Bunte Bummler themselves, doing a re-edit of their original track giving us a twist and offering a different view ..  more clubby than the first one.

"'What If' was the first track that we finished for Odeon. The song's basic idea -”what if this was not the case”- can serve as a layout for the whole album: what if noise was a song? What if the sound of the sea was a symphony? What if the ears could listen? The vocals of Belgian singer Sarah Carlier are an instrument like any other instrument on the track, as we always like to do. Every Tosca track is an architecture of sound, and the time of the clock turning into groove-time; Tosca-time. Music is the place where we like to be, where everything is possible, where anything can happen; what if the world was music?"

That's one of the reasons their collaborations are so successful, despite the lack of surface-level similarities between their respective musical output. "Broken Pieces" is one of two songs featuring Lidell from the forthcoming Brandt Brauer Frick album Miami. The album also features Om'mas Keith, Nina Kraviz, Gudrun Gut and Erika Janunger, and will be released March 11th (March 19th in the US) on !K7 Records.

While the new Brandt Brauer Frick album Miami sees the Berlin trio once again using instruments most associated with classical music (piano, strings, timpani) to create dance music, it also sees the group stepping away from the "acoustic techno" approach of some previous work. On the first single "Plastic Like Your Mother," BBF collaborate with Om'Mas Keith (founding member of Sa-Ra Creative Partners and co-producer of Frank Ocean's Channel Orange) for a dark and frenetic track that defies categorization.

Five releases in and Ramon Tapia&#8217;s Say What? imprint has impressed and strengthened with each and every single, all of which have come from the label boss himself, seeing him turn out some of the most heavily supported house tracks of the past twelve months. Projecting enough weight to satisfy fans of his techier work, singles such as &#8216;411&#8217; and &#8216;Y Not&#8217; have also brought Ramon support from the true house heads.006 sees the Belgian team up with Russian producer, Tripmastaz, on two new and essential house jams. With a history of releases stretching back to the early 2000&#8217;s, it was Tripmastaz&#8217; work with DJ Sneak&#8217;s Magnetic Recordings in 2010 that really shot him into the limelight. Championed by the &#8216;original house gangster&#8217;, he has since gone on to launch Plant 74, his own label, and release music with Cecille, Be As One and Realtone.Title track &#8216;Jack&#8217; matches warm basement beats with an oldskool vocal sample declaring the death of Jack. Do not fear, this &#8216;Jack&#8217; is very much alive and well and groovin&#8217; with a healthy dose of retro-feeling.
