John Joseph (formerly John Thacker) is a queer artist from Manchester, England. 

Describing his music as 'euphoric chill-pop over emotive lyrics’, his debut EP 'The Recall' was praised by bloggers and received a play on BBC Introducing, alongside a live performance for UNILAD sound as an "artist to watch" performing lead single 'Control'. 

He began his career as a vocalist and songwriter for various artists, notably 'Identity' with longtime collaborator Junerule which peaked at #12 on the Italian iTunes chart. He has over 400,000+ streams on Spotify and his listeners are growing. 

His EP 'John Joseph' was released on the 18th of June 2021 to a positive reception. His recent single 'Electrify' was released on the 5th of December 2022 with Naes London, a protest celebration of youth.

John will be releasing his new single ‘Dreamy Boy’ on the 7th of July 2023, funded by Help Musicians, alongside a handful of collaborations. 

He is particularly passionate about the representation of the LGBTQIA+ community in music.

Hi, My name is MarkyJ (MarkJames) I am a singer/song writer and performer.
I just enjoy making music! I sincerely want to get my music out there & heard, maybe enjoyed by someone else. 
I gave up chasing the dream many moons ago after years of record labels, managers and production deals (including George Michael's cousin Andrew Georgiou & Polydor's Peter Loraine), brought me a little but ultimately no success. But being a positive soul, I never gave in! & once up on a time a record label sent me to Pineapple dance studios to dance with Nicky B, SHE was the one and only person in the industry who did believe in me, and gave me a break!(for which Im eternally grateful). 
So I am proud to introduce my collection of songs & recordings Entitled 'voice memo demos' - which I have written/arranged, produced and sung, with a little help from some guest instrumentalists in the hope that people feel the positivity, love and enjoy my attempt at funky music!

Classically trained singer with natural acting abilities who worked in theatre for over 15 years. I have been singing for over 30 years touring from Europe to Asia. Genres I've sung live and recorded are theatre, pop (in Spanish also), soul, EDM, opera (4 languages), gospel, and jazz.
