Igor a.k.a TerraTech, very early became interested in electronic music and began his search for different styles of Psytrance Music around the year 2001.
The first steps were taken by private parties and local clubs in Portugal, so then the tendency for mixing was the beginning of knowledge, and lately in 2005 they were the basis to create his solo project under the name TerraTech.

After his first experiences and deep productions, many tracks were been released on several labels well known in the underground scene, as Urban Antidote where he is the head of the label since 2010, Insomnia Records, the Russian Psychedelic Pioneers, Lycantrop from Belgium, Bhooteshwara, this great Macedonian Label, OmVeda from India, 2to6 (The well known old Kabrathor Records), Deviant Force, the talented night time label from Germany, Mind Expansion (Psycrowdelica Family with Love) also Germany, and more, just naming a few.

With more than a decade in the psychedelic scene, many regular performances all over the Europe, Asia, America, and in Big Festivals like BOOM in Portugal, Psychedelic Circus, Psycrowdelica, Odyssee, this three in Germany, UFO-Bufo in Czech Republic, Andra Vaerlden (Sweden) Waha (Romania), and so on.

TerraTech sound is been designed with a dynamic feeling, diving atmospheres, specially involved by organic and cosmic sounds, a moment to explore all your deep emotions at a dancefloor, original production based on all aspects of psychedelic domains.

This last years Igor compiled many releases at Urban Antidote where hes been active since then, Optoplanar was the name chosen for the first one, Renewal is the second one wich was the best seller of the label, Modulating Architects (Along Dj Amazon) the third one, TEN was the number four, particularly to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the label.
Nowadays many projects are running to come out in 2018, specially a Split Album and some Compilations by the label (Urban Antidote), stay tuned for the surprises!

The Riddle Ride (dj set)

This is the set I played at Selenium - Lost Theory goes to Madrid, in Yasta Club, Madrid.
In this event I played just before the headliner, Procs, so during the session I wanted to give hints about the Scandinavian vibe to make a proper introduction to this very unique artist :)
The set also goes through other musical parallel tales that belong to different territory (musically speaking) but still, they are part of the whole script.

I hope you enjoy the set and even more important, I hope it will make you feel emotions ^_^

Darkymedes es un matemático de músicas oscuras, un paisajistas sonoro, un contador de historias que no utiliza las palabras, mitad vampiro y apariencia de dj.. Todo sumado.

Aunque se conocen muy pocos detalles de su vida cotidiana bajo la claridad del dia, sabemos que este personaje ha dedicado gran parte de su tiempo libre experimentado en la oscuridad.

iLoopsion meditó mucho mientras bailaba largo tiempo en raves y festivales de todo el mundo con músicas más oscuras que las noches. Toda esa observación, inspiró su genial idea, el principio de Darkymedes.

Los libros de historias cuentan que, iLoops, una oscura noche, en el oscuro sótano de una casa rural, pegándose la fiesta, impulsado por la alegría de todos sus descubrimientos musicales, entusiasmado e iluminado por la gran potencia y oscuridad que conseguía obtener con máquinas capaces de hacer bailar los cuerpos sin un esfuerzo aparente, aseguró: “Dadme sonido y moveré el mundo.”

Dark-Forest, Dark Psy, Hi-tech y Psycore son las fórmulas musicales favoritas que aplica en sus sesiones. Amante de las mezclas directas y de las melodías en la linea de los graves.

KAARA is the DJ project of Karolina, based in Madrid (Spain). She was born in Lithuania in a home impregnated with art by her grandparents, both professional artists. Her parents nurtured in her a respect for arts and culture, love of nature, curiosity and craving for knowledge. Thanks to them, from early age she received musical education and diverse artistic training, which she continues expanding to this day.

Attracted to the counterculture, free and creative forms of expression and nonconformity, she grew in close connection with underground movements. KAARA began her musical explorations with Punkrock and Hardcore, later discovering electronic music like Drum'n'Bass, Jungle, IDM, and experimental productions. Upon settling in Spain she finally took roots in Psytrance scene, and was actively participating in it until the local scene got corrupted and psychedelia was lost.

Focused on the darker side of psytrance, mainly forest and darkpsy, KAARA is on a constant hunt for genuine, genre defying music to build solid night-time sets, characterized by mental basis, rich fat basslines and quirky sounds. Her sets are carefully crafted into chimerical stories to dissolve the mundane realm for the dancers and catalyse the state of trance. 

Besides djing, KAARA is a professional photographer, event organizer, traveler, free thinker, self-explorer, slowly experimenting with music production.
