About Vâga
VÂGA is a reggae / folk / hiphop singer, poet & musician from France, active in reggae scene for about 20 years. Musician since his childhood, he was the main singer of Kalywise ( Reggae band) in the early 2000s, as well as part of Reality crew collective. During the 2010's he was the frontman and main singer in Bouddha Sticks reggae band and member of R2G crew; he is also well known in the HipHop scene for many successfull collaborations with countless rappers .
Powerfull voice, sometime rebellious, Vâga is also known for being " the gyal dem crooner" in the tradition of the Lovers Reggae singers , with the catchiest melodies , either on reggae riddims or on more crossover beats .
After 5 albums (in French) and Hundreds of performances in France & Europe, VÂGA is now ( finally) working on more english lyrics, and we are very excited to bring this unique voice and powerfull message to the rest of the world!

This project is a compilation of songs on 3 instrumentals, in the jamaican tradition of the "riddim" series , and goes from hot summer vibe with caribbean flavour of  Zouk ( Sirocco riddim ) to the energy of Ragga Jungle ( Hello Mama Jungle riddim )  to the depth of  Roots reggae ( Bernie roots riddim ) all produced by Kactus Koraï's wizzard Kazdi Koba.

About Kaztet D
Kaztet D is a versatile artist ( Mc, DJ, Producer ) with a long background in the reggae sound systems and french reggae/Hiphop underground scene but not only. Member of different bands and collectives , he was part of Massawa sound system and one of the founders of R2G crew aka rouen2ground in France . In 2013 he settled in Asia where he became a very active DJ and promoter in the Reggae/ Bass but also in the underground electronic music scene , founding and being part of a few crews such as Wat a Gwaan , Banana Hustle or Saigon Dub Station. Now back on the mic after many years recordless, he is bringing a more mature style, beetween the smoothness of reggae of the rebellious energy of Raggamuffin & Rap, playing with catchy melodies & dynamite flows and you can expect more from him on Kactus Koraï very soon .

About Sista Wyss & Obed
Sista Wyss is a reggae/Soul/RnB Singer from France , part of several crews since the late 2000s. After a few years performing in the Hiphop scene , she was part of R2G crew and joined Drop It Sound system alongside who she keeps performing regular shows in France until today . After a quite successfull street album about 10 years ago , she is back with more strength and delivers that a songs remindind her family links to Guadeloupe, and he desire to reconnect, in featuring with the  Kompa and Raggamuffin Veteran man called Obed from Haïti and hiw wicked creole flow !

Kactus Koraï is the fruit of a two decades friendship and musical collaboration between Pierre BRD (Puppa Elpee, Selecta, Vinylist, Promoter & Graphic Designer) and Kazdi Koba (Kaztet D aka Greg HD, Cosmic Banana DJ, MC & Producer). They now releasing music of their own colours and sounds from jungles, lagoons, cities and cosmic universe of the musical past, present, future...
