This one's dedicated to my out-of-this-world gf Talin. No really, she's an alien and I'm lucky enough to be her man.

This mix is dated 6/9/2021, which is also our one year anniversary. She's been my number one supporter and such an inspiration in helping me dive deep into music. I wouldn't be who I am without you, but you let me be myself and that's what makes us right. I was thinking about putting some lovey songs in this mix, but you support me to do whatever I want. I wanted some grooves, so I mixed some grooves. As long as I suck "Only You" in this mix, I knew she was going to be bonkers over it. That's one of the many reasons why I love her. The pandemic saw him lock into the studio, his musical instincts kicking into high gear to emerge with his new all original live set, including energetic spotlight moments with his lifelong friend the electric guitar, as well as launching the ZERO label with a top 10 release.   

Today Lovecraft is best known for its soul touching, body moving, and heart binding music, and his productions are often said to have the perfect mix of sexy mystique and deep edginess, exemplifying and embodying the city he calls home:  New York.

Paper Planes | Lovecraft

Hello friends! Here is the recording of my very first set at Stereo Montréal

A place that truly feels like (((home))) 

A room that means so much to many of us and that sparks wonders for those who haven't been yet. A space where we can be free, all together. A spaceship that uses vibrations to bend space and time. A temple where music becomes alive.

It was an honour to have the chance to play in this room for 11 hours to the most amazing group of humans. It's been a dream of mine for so many years to have the chance to play there and it's one of most meaningful moments I ever lived. Stars were aligned, the collective energy was truly beautiful and I am happy to be able to share with you the soundtrack of that night. 

Thanks to all the @stereonightclub team for the incredible work to co-create such a sacred space for music. 

A special thanks to Luc for the cosmic visuals during the night.

And thanks to all of you family and friends who joined the journey.

During the very last evening of The Monastery Festival in 2019 we got the lovely opportunity to see the rising super start Joep Mencke tear The Odd Ones Out stage apart with his melodic and explosive music. 

This lovely incredible musician took the crowd's energy from it's peak to a new level of excitement we never imagined existed. There were laughs, smiles, hugs, and even tears of joy.

Wow, what a set Joep! We are very grateful to be surrounded by human beings like you with such a talent and love.
