KADAWA is a power-trio based in Brooklyn, NY that synthesizes the raw energy of alternative-rock with lush harmonies, intricate rhythms, and improvisational interplay of jazz and the avant-garde.

KADAWA (Tal Yahalom on guitar, Almog Sharvit on bass, and Ben Silashi on drums) has an almost telepathic approach, born out of their deep friendship and hundreds of hours spent rehearsing, performing, and traveling together; The trio met at Tel Aviv Conservatory and moved together to the United States in 2014.
KADAWA’s self-titled debut album received praise from The New York Times, NEXTBOP, All About Jazz (IT), and The Vancouver Sun. 
The 12-track album features all original compositions and includes guest appearances by trumpeter Adam O’Farrill, among others.

The successful release of “KADAWA” led to multiple tours across the US, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, the Netherlands, Scotland and the UK. Notable appearances include the Detroit Jazz Festival, Jazzwerkstatt Bern, Jazzmeile Thuringen, Teatro CajaGRANADA, The Jerusalem Jazz Festival, Vortex Jazz Club and performances with the likes of John Escreet and Jon Irabagon. In 2023 the trio collaborated with singer-
songwriter Grey McMurray on the release of a Live EP - “Downward Jewel”.

KADAWA’s upcoming release, “Post Graduation Fees”, is an ambitious sophomore album that uses extensive overdubbing and layering to expand the trio’s core sound.
The album’s eight tracks showcase the trio’s compositional breadth, ranging from hard-driving bangers to spacious, atmospheric ballads. This album provides a high-energy outlet to process the challenges of immigration, solitude, and daily existentialism of our modern age - with an air of wit and humor.
