Ibrahiym Jallow (born Mario McCottrell on January 20th, 1988), is better known by her stage name Jallow is an American singer and songwriter. Originally from East Saint Louis, IL, he relocated to Oklahoma City, Ok in 2008. He attended college and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2013 and later went on to obtain a Master’s Degree this year 2017. Jallow is a soul singer of Alternative R&B sound. His crafty unheard-of song writing style places him amongst a new wave of artistry. He likes to consider his lyrics “discerning”, due to his well thought concepts and nostalgia way of expression. His musical influences come from his early upbringing in the Rastafarian culture taught to him by his father. He contributes his influences from artist like Vaughn Benjamin (of Midnite) and burning Spear. Among other things, he entirely devoted a self-study into his own life and past to develop a sound that is unlike anyone else. He prides himself on his uniqueness and holds his unaltered faith as a Black Muslim

I'm currently running a small branch from it called the Monopoly. Were not a gang or pretend to be ...were just weirdos ... Many people compare my sound & lyricing to wiz khalifa & asap rocky . I definitely balance my flow & mix it with smooth southern sounds with a little bay area flair. I am also ry versatile & have many musical influences outside of rap! Enjoy anything I do.
