We welcome back one of our own hometown heroes, Jonathan Kaspar. Through holding down a residency at the fabled Gewölbe club, to releases on Pets Recordings, Objektivity, Ouïe and our own KX imprint, Jonathan Kaspar has proved to be one of the most exceptionally gifted producers and DJ’s to emerge from Cologne in recent time.

Though the clubs have remained closed since he came to us with his Kompakt debut “Kante”, his inspiration clearly remains unwavered with “Muster EP”. An acid tinged groove throbs to incredible momentum on the title track “Muster”. Follow the heartbeat with “Alle” as Jonathan brings the electro funk forward with his first foray into using his own vocals. A French touched rumble bass gives “Beton” all the flow and more for those early hour moments we all are craving again. The closer “Heber” is a classic opener – a subtle percussion rhythm gets built around sky high synths and a sweet house high hat to warm up any night.

The digital version comes with a stripped down version of Beton!

Working together with your countrymen is a basic rule among melodic business bros - we've learned that over the years. As diligent students, we're always striving to adapt ourselves to these standards and actively searching for talents in close geographical proximity. It ain’t easy, I would say.

Fortunately, Hungarian Papi @yourrmusic has been around for a long time, and we're more than happy that he teamed up with @sobek1 for two hypnotic dance floor burners. Let’s take a look at each of these masterpieces one by one.

Very very close to the title track but more functional especially if we talk about the break. That dried out synth which creates the tension is something, not to talk about all the psychos going all round. Madness.

Grasping 2020 as the year to remember, we are unfolding 2021 with the highly-anticipated release from our Argentian friends Bridado Crew & Ubbah, who already shared their musical ideas with the remarkable split releases on Eleatics in 2018. This time Brigado Crew duo, who has already released their music via Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent and Eklektisch, joins Ubbah for 'Too Late' EP. The main track 'Too Late' is a driving banger, which is extensively concentrating ones' attention with the effective and bursting bass-line and low-end work. Vocals from the Australian singer Winnick are becoming the epicentre of the dynamic and explosive track, which will lit the focus of those, who love the floor-working things. Random synth playouts altogether with the noticeably working bass sounds plus the standalone Winnick's vocals takeover certainly bring the feeling of the energy. French producer Damon Jee had a fruitful 2020 year with the releases on Correspondant, Critical Monday and Fine Human from a few to mention, which led him to be one of the most sold artists of Indie Dance genre on Beatport. Known for his dark-disco brand style, Damon is shaping his remix catching the laid-back groove around main sounds from the original track multiplied with the dark-disco sound inherent to the remixers' sound. 'Time Moves On' has a very symbolic name. Mellow and palatable vocals alongside the melodic leitmotiv of the track are certainly bringing the right mood. Doctor Dru is the artist known for us since the previous decade. His sound always evolved into the right path, which is dictated by Dru's passion and devout love of electronic music combined with his years of experience and unerring will to roll out the very best tunes full of substance and dancefloor appeal. Releasing with Diynamic, Mobilee, Flying Circus and his own Jeudi Records, Doctor Dru has always been a figure to watch. Dru's remix brings the very best of Indie sound: colourful melodies and pads, mysterious vocals and the immense groove - that's what we have in the end. After half a decade of constant touring and producing, it’s safe to say Kadosh’s growth has been truly remarkable. These days, he regularly crisscrosses the globe, playing at some of the planet’s leading spots. A typical weekend can be Blue Marlin in Ibiza, Nitsa in Barcelona, Fabric in London, or Watergate in Berlin.

The Americas have also quickly fallen under his spell, with Central America regularly experiencing his dancefloor wizardry, whether it’s at Bar Americas in Mexico, Stereo in Montreal, or SXM Festival in the Caribbean. In 2024, Kadosh expanded his horizons further, with summer residencies in Ibiza and Cyprus.

Kadosh’s studio output has been steady and top-notch, featuring a string of EPs and remixes on renowned labels like Innervisions, Disco Halal, Renaissance, Live at Robert Johnson, and Crosstown Rebels, to name a few. In between, there’s Frau Blau Music, his own imprint, which continues to break new ground with a steady flow of releases and label nights at select venues worldwide.
