A tribute to John Carpenter, with excerpts from "Escape from New York", those who know this cult movie might recognize the music, I hope the others won't :-) 
The mix captures the atmosphere of the movie, combining Dark Disco with wavy tracks from the 80's.

Escape From New Disco, May 2019

When I get a request to do a remix I take that as an invitation… an invitation to express.

The sounds from the original composition become doors / gates… stepping stones for me to travel into this very moment and investigate how it is always changing (that changing being me).

I start working with the sounds… looping, playing, shaping… like a ceramist working with the clay, a painter working with the brush and paint, or the baker working with the dough. This process becomes a mantra; a meditation, and my studio becomes filled with sounds and rhythms… echoes from the original song, filtered by this very moment, temporary passing through ”someone” being called Sebastian Mullaert or Wa Wu We. Expression taking place and there are ”NO MORE WORDS”. Music becomes being, just Being.

STL is one of my absolute favorite artists, this specific invitation felt very special to me and the journey around the creation of the remix has been very deep.

Now I invite You to take part of it, let your consciousness express this very moment through the experience of the music. Again, being is just Being.

We’re back with our 6th instalment of our Savage Sessions podcast series, and this time we have Melbourne local, Toufie. Being a resident of the well-known ‘Progression Sessions’ as well as running his own event, ‘End of Now’ - Toufie is absolutely no stranger to the scene. 

In this mix, Toufie has provided us with what one can label a ‘journey’, but the reality being a twisted, warped vortex that spirals down into the deep depths of Techno. 

Beginning with hypnotic and atmospheric sounds, Toufie warms you into a comfortable state where he takes complete control - this is just the beginning. He then takes no prisoners, as the tempo increases as well as the severity of the music, laying down dark, pummelling Techno; which ends with a soft and soulful landing. 

We hope this mix keeps you as entertained as it did us in isolation; and we hope all of you are doing well.

"We are excited to announce the first ever Intumi release, Anshan by crouds.
Produced during a residency in Shanghai in summer 2019, the EP deviates from the duo's previous releases and improvised livesets. The four tracks feature intricate rythmic patterns, forward pushing shifting drumgrooves and gritty sound design. Drawing inspiration from their immediate surroundings, their experience gained from playing livesets and a deliberately chosen set of tools, crouds crafted a concept EP to leave a unique mark.
Anshan is a place in our memory perceived so long ago, we are not quite sure ourselves if it ever existed the way we remember it. Led by nostalgia, inspired by a lost feeling. We did not find what we came here for so we started crafting to fill the void. Freed by restrictions, some of which we chose ourselves and others imposed on us by foreign powers. The result is a new place to withdraw our minds to. Soon to be coated by doubts of its existence again.
The EP includes three remixes by Berlin-based artists. JakoJako presents a fast-paced interpretation of You Talk The Talk. The track Overhowl gets revisited by Alternativ3 with a leftfield-oriented version, and by Sacha Ketterlin, who puts his dancefloor stamp on it. "
