Schwefelgelb is the electronic music project of Sid & Eddy. Having carefully straddled the boundaries between Techno, EBM and Electro, the duo is entering 2016 with a 12” release on the new label incarnation of the Berlin based Fleisch collective. Fleisch consists of a group of miscreants known for throwing some of the best curated dark underground dance parties in Berlin, with a focus on sounds ranging from E.B.M., new beat, acid to techno. The metamorphosis of Fleisch into a label could not demand a more fitting debut than Schwefelgelb’s newest sonic discharge. Tight programming, catchy analog synth-bass
coupled with well utilized & frenetic shouted vocals echo the golden age of Electronic Body Music. A refreshing progression of sounds moves the style forward without being afflicted with the formulaic and hollow tendencies befallen similar attempts by others acts over the years.

Really Something

Hell Yeah is back with more beach ready and boat party styled summer tunes, this time from Riccio. This Italian producer has long been making essential edits, off kilter grooves and soul kissed house sounds that demand to be played loud and these new ones are no different.

Described by the label boss as Balearic Big Beat, this EP kicks off with Afro Chemy, a scorching seven minute tune that builds on a bed of fat drums. The scattered percussion is loose and organic and when the funky bass and colourful xylophone sounds comes in you can’t help but cut loose. Add in a sexy trumpet line and you have the sound of summer distilled into seven sensational minutes.

Funky Cave will get any party started with its old school drum breaks and cymbal splashes sounding like the ocean when you plunge in on a hot day. Busted bass lines add a certain fatness and cosmic keys and streamy guitar licks make this another perfect outdoor anthem.

Last of all is the blissed out Heather, one to drop at sundown after a long day’s dancing. The beats are warm and lumpy, the synths smear out to the horizon like gently breaking waves and soulful leads really get your heart swelling. Proper.

They held one another's hands tightly. The two were the last ones left in the damp, dark, dirty basement. Running from the cops, together in the dark, they were the last to be caught and captured for a crime in which they had not been involved. Outside the whirring sirens could be heard from miles away, the shudder of a helicopter cut coarsely through the black night sky and from time to time a beam of light would illuminate where they lay through the window.

Curses is set to release a new EP on London based record label and party series SC&P. The Berlin based producer has taken a moody turn on the new release which he describes as follows: 

"Since moving to Berlin, I found myself embracing my post-punk, new wave and rock & roll roots more than ever and incorporating it into my production and sets. Together In the Dark is about the disappearance of fear in unfamiliar and uncomfortable realities and embracing new light to move forward."

Diego Ocejo, aka The Happy Man, is closing the journey. True explorer himself, highly influenced by hip hop, he started producing five years ago, alongside his career as an illustrator and engraver. A mad records and drum machines-collector in his spare time, this young DJ / producer is pushed by the famous drive called “more”, more new things, more fresh things, more challenging things. His musical sets are but the result of it all, linking house and disco together with some frequent detours via jazz and funk, and endless groovy road. 
Grab our hands, step in with us: it’s time for “Pizza Hug”. It will be the last little dance before our trip ends. It will be a special one. It will be a warm one. It will be the kind of dance that makes you never want to stop.
