In the first Reference VS project we squeezed some of the party out of Seth Troxler and some of the percussion expertise from Ryan Crosson to create the still sought after tracks “The Fade” and “The Bumps”. In the second installment of our Reference VS series we wanted to get a bit more soulful, &amp; deep with the music, and highlight two of the world’s finest dub techno artists – Stephen Hitchell (CV313) and Marko Furstenburg (Surphase).

L/F/D/M (loves flacid disco muscle) drops 4 varied tracks for this, from the full on raging acid techno of BELTON, the intricate drones of DROME V II, creepy sex loops on 88 and the degraded synths of UNTRUTHS.

In true Craigie Knowes spirit, Derek has been drawn off of the beaten path to supply a wider variety of sounds than you would usually expect to hear from the Irish producer. Acid, Techno and Detroit Electro tinged sounds throughout.
