Kagewatari is a experimental postrock band from Tokyo/Japan. Kagewatari exists for about 10 years now and started as a japanese rock band. The last years many members changed and so did the music. Currently There are 6 members in this band.
The sound of Kagewatari describes nature, time and the connection of the different elements.

Kagewatari just finished recording and mastering their new album. And it is going to be released about February 2011 in Japan so far.

All India Radio: somewhere in between the melodic minimalism of Radiohead and the lush beats of Boards Of Canada, with a fondness for Lynch- esque aesthetics & Floydian psychedelics. Tracks in TV shows CSI Miami, One Tree Hill, The Lying Game, and more.
Observers: my new melodic metal project. Debut album ''The Age of the Machine Entities'' is a metal reimagining of the Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C Clarke's classic 2001 A Space Odyssey.
