THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG...This is my attempt at a country type song...the way this song was born is kinda weird.  I had a dream about winning an award for a song and it felt so real (like dreams often do) that when I woke up at 3am (in the middle of the night) I grabbed a pen and notebook and wrote down everything I could remember, then went back to sleep...the next morning I got up and started working on this song immediately and this is the outcome...ALL CRIED OUT...

04 All Cried Out

THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG...this song was born through a conversation I was a part of with 2 ladies I work with.  They were both disgruntled about the men (or lack of good men) in their lives...One of the ladies couldn't find a guy she wanted to date and the other had been dating a super nice guy that I know, but she didn't think the relationship was going anywhere.  They commented that there were no good guys left out there...

What they wanted was "an Officer and a Gentleman" kind of moment...you know where the guy kicks in the door at the end of a movie, scoops up the girl and walks into the sunset...they wanted Mr. Perfect (I was already taken)and they asked me where those guys were...

My response was "The love you're looking for might be right in front of your eyes and you just don't know it"...

So these are the things I learned because of that conversation....

1)  Movies give people unrealistic hopes of what love should be...

2)  Women want to be swept off there feet and saved by the Hero...

3)  All guys want to be the Hero (duh...it's in our DNA)!

4) When #2 and #3 collide special things happen...

By the way...the lady and the guy I know are happily married!

So here it is...LOVE WILL FIND A WAY...
