Resident DJ at La Relève (Lille, FR), he is very active on the local scene of his beloved city and region, where he settled back after living & playing in Toulouse & Paris.

Nacido en la localidad gallega de Tui, André Dias vivió la escena electrónica en su ciudad, basada en el sonido del Italodance que se reproducía prácticamente en todos los locales. El club de moda en ese momento era Brujas, y allí pasaba horas junto al DJ, observando de cerca cómo realizaban su trabajo. Su curiosidad era tal que un día lo invitaron a la cabina del DJ para enseñarle los entresijos del arte de pinchar. Poco a poco, aprendió el oficio hasta que tuvo la primera oportunidad de manejar una mesa de mezclas.

Su percepción del sonido cambió a los 18 años cuando asistió por primera vez a un evento de techno. Fue en el Zoo Club (Sanxenxo), y Cristian Varela estaba actuando con uno de sus sets clásicos de vinilo. Esa actuación alimentó aún más la
curiosidad de André, y comenzó a explorar a fondo la escena techno hasta convertirse en parte de ella. Para hacerlo, comenzó a estudiar a influencias como Ben Klock, Ben Sims o Richie Hawtin, entre muchos otros.

Su primera actuación completa tuvo lugar en una rave organizada cada año en las montañas cerca de su ciudad. Una exitosa primera prueba de fuego que lo llevó a las cabinas de clubs en Galicia y Portugal, incluyendo lugares destacados como
Pacha Ofir (Ofir, Portugal), Gate 13 (Barcelos, Portugal, antiguo club 118), Soundwaves Festival (Esmoriz, Portugal), Industria Club (Cerveira, Portugal), Infame Club (Lisboa, Portugal) y Discoteca Queen (Mos, España). En cada uno de estos eventos, expresa su estado de ánimo a través de su música y sets. Siempre trata de conectarse con el público de principio a fin, disfrutando a menudo más de abrir una fiesta o evento, ya que puede conectarse con la audiencia desde el primer minuto. Una vez que termina su actuación, André es uno de esos artistas que se une al público para disfrutar de la fiesta con ellos.

Como productor, André Dias es metódico y consistente, gracias al conocimiento que ha adquirido de colegas como el portugués Cardao y Joton. Siempre dispuesto a probar cosas nuevas pero sin perder de vista su respeto por la cultura electrónica
que lo ha influenciado a lo largo de todos estos años.

Actualmente, André Dias está centrado en la producción y en el lanzamiento de su sello, Cerebellum Records, junto al gran Cardao. Con este proyecto, llevará muchas
de sus producciones a la luz y llevará su música a otros países, conociendo a nuevas personas en la escena con quienes pueda compartir conocimientos y experiencias.

Clearly not for the faint of heart, his blends combine the wildness of 909-powered trampling with untamed onslaughts of hypnotic synth furls and heavy-duty, aggro percussions gone rogue. Once again, we pay tribute to our artists on stage with Drop-E recorded set blowing up the opening of Prisma the 23/24 season, although with the bitterness that the club setting for this mix, does not have the same fate. In November, Prisma was forced to close its doors and unfortunately is going through a difficult situation.

We show this memorable Drop-E present and his emotional words dedicated to the collective that accompanied the artist's growth since 2016, hosting him on countless occasions along with great national and international artists, contributing to establishing his reputation and nurturing his artistic recognition in the city of Seville, accompanied by open-minded visionaries, and regulars of the most underground and avant-garde Andalusian scene.

"I want to express what I feel about the closing of Prisma with my last mix and these worthy words of gratitude for their effort and work offering a well-deserved electronic scene at the highest level all these years, since its beginnings and successive, including the warriors who have fought until now. Many thanks to everything that makes up Prisma, to the entire team, its promoters, to the great cast of local artists and to so many friends around the club, and to my followers and to the true fans of the techno genre itself, my words are also for you.

▸ Drop-E label boss of Signal is a DJ and techno producer from southern Spain, already well known for his releases on such labels as AINE (PoleGroup), Edit Select, Signal Rec, Modularz, Emphatic, Inducted Waves among others.

His style is quite peculiar and characteristic, moving between mostly abstract and very gloomy sounds, repetitive and tireless loops; atonal sequences where the presence of bass is noticeable from beginning to end. Obsessive and direct sequences to the central nervous system, hypnotism and depression joined hand in hand, falling in sharp frequencies and a constantly evolving structure make the perfect recipe for the dance floor where it is easy to end up out of control in a thrilling trip with no return ticket, not suitable for all audiences.

Drop-E brings us subbass heavy synthesized mess, obsesive compulsive sequences, sharpened hi-frequencies and a constantly evolving structure make the recipe. The tracks feels almost out of control, but this is a ride so thrilling you will never want to get off!

In the studio, Sedna’s vision shares the same base concepts as his DJ sets, focusing on experimental sounds, cinematic soundscapes and generative music.
