Happy Father's Day

This is a simple song about the power of music to comfort, heal, cross borders, touch the soul, and inspire. It's specifically an ode to the oud. 
Here is a translation of some of the lyrics: oh oud, late-night companion, lamenting, deeply feeling; your melodies travel to the end of the world and back;  writing and erasing borders/ boundaries, your voice raining moons and strange beauty. 
I first heard Fairuz sing a rendition and fell in love with it. 
This is an experiment.
