Halcxn's fifth release, Pentium Trax Mixtape, brings together six tracks produced by Fantasna between 2007 and 2010 using software, MIDI controllers, and a Korg Electribe S-MKII sampler. The sample-driven songs – recovered from an old hard drive by Sebastian Mella – stand out for the incorporation of chords, pads and deep atmospheres and the constant house beats representative of the start of the millennium.

Pentium Trax Mixtape allows us to complete and appreciate Fantasna's musical pursuit throughout his almost fifteen years of career. The album features the tracks Xenon and Eida, initially released in 2013 on the Chilean label Diskosour.

The cover art is a digital collage created from analog pictures made by Fantasna at his home studio in 2007. They expose his creative process at the time.

Pentium Trax Mixtape will be officially released on October 2, 2020, through Halcxn's Bandcamp and will be available from October 9 on all streaming platforms.

Wake Dream is proud to present Palav Aed, the first full length album by Amsterdam/Tallinn based Estonian musician Ruutu Poiss.

Recorded over the course of seven years from 2012 to 2019 in various home studios in Ruutu Poiss’ home town Tallinn, the tracks on Palav Aed were all made revolving around the same equipment constellation, the album sounding as coherent as it sounds timeless.

Having released several 7”s, 12”s and EPs on Levels, International Major Label, Rets Records and being featured on various compilations from Fasaan Rec. and Porridge Bullet, Ruutu Poiss defined a sonic universe of his own that is equally unique as it is familiar.

Rich in influences and references, from ethereal harmonics and melodics that might be traced back to his background in choral music, to saturated synth funk and psychedelic futurism, Palav Aed is a document that encompasses the full range of Ruutu Poiss, a musician peacefully floating through leftfield electronics, experiments and sonic imaginations.
