Paving the way for the new era of DJs, Lexer’s ascension to deep house superstar has been rapid since turning his hand to production in 2012, with the likes of Bakermat, Oliver Schories, Klangkarussel, Alle Farben and Tom Novy all supporting the German’s signature sound. Joining the dots between Europe’s hottest cities, the promising trailblazer can reminisce back on a packed touring schedule with performances from Amsterdam to Zurich, Berlin to Paris - not to mention plenty of festivals appearances in between. 

Now with his impending release on Kittball, Lexer delivers yet another reason for industry leaders to take heed of his talents. Melodic breakdowns and a pensive hook are the reasoning behind the title of ‘Thoughtful’, a track that emits sunshine and solstice with every lasting note. The rumbling kick drums of ‘Rusty Heart’ make for a heavier number, whilst playful bass stabs, charming melodies and glorious strings make for a testament to Lexer’s rocketing talents as a producer.

First up on remix duties is Kittball favourite in.deed, whose rendition of ‘Rusty Heart’ introduces a fuzzy bass hook and sultry atmospherics to a positively upbeat cut. Pulling apart the original and reconstructing it into a completely different creature, Ron Flatter then ties up the release with a stripped back and understated renovation that saunters along amiably.

Adanasonic - "One for the X" - Dikso Preview

Adam Beyer’s new EP titled ‘Teach Me’ is an accomplished piece of work that highlights Beyer's year thus far. 'Teach Me' starts with some eerie chords before the distinctive vocal kick in and the track drops into a rumbling techno track. ‘Darlek’ uses rhythmic beeps and huge synth stab to create a funky rhythm before the atmospheric pads create a beautiful setting for this incredible techno track. ‘Stop Talking’ is a deeper offering from Beyer using weird and unusual noises to create and interesting piece of work that is helped along by the throbbing bass underlying in the track. ‘Spaceman’ uses a rhythmic vocal, percussion and sub bass to turn this track into a funky techno piece.

Tronic’s next release is featuring label head’s Christian Smith’s second remix pack. The duties to remix “Mutate” are upon the groovy Kaiserdisco boys which have manage to create a funky version of the track, it will keep you moving. Sub bass, stomping drums and leading arpeggiated synth lines. The great Dosem is at it on the second remix. “Who You Are” is a banging, rolling, dance-heavy track with an 80’s synth long the way, pure excellence. The third piece of the EP is a rework of Christian’s track “Motor” from Dave Angel, this is the bass leading – 6 a.m monster piece of the pack, ace melodies, big synths and a sense of placidity.

Love Not Money's next digital only package see's the return of Ali Scott, a firm favourite on the Leeds club scene and resident at one of the UK's fastest rising and unique House nights 'Nest'.

Lead track 'Dream Machine' kicks off the release with solid claps, analogue drums and a ballsy no-nonsense bass-line, complete with a killer vocal sample that really demonstrates Ali's flair for arrangement. This has elements of the classic 90's House sound all over it and is bound to go down a treat on the floor.

On remix duties we've drafted in hot property in the form of A Lister, a talented young producer who's debut EP hit the No.1 spot on Traxsource and follow up EP's all charting in and among the top 10 grabbing the attention of a whole host of key players. With his bass driven sound with hint's of Garage becoming popular the world over, the decision to get him onboard Love not Money was an obvious one and he has not disappointed. 

Rounding of the EP nicely is Ali's 'Forget You' with an infectious Organ bass-line and tight percussive groove it's impossible not to be carried along by the sheer force of the rhythms.

Big beat's all round on this release as we continue to set the tone on the fast approaching summer months.
