this is my most ambitious project to date and i spent a good amount of time working on this! this is my first actual album under this new name that doesn't include any tracks from my previous self.. this album dives into my mental state and how i feel most of the time + this album is the last project i'll release before i start my life as a "non-teen" experience in life.

after this releases, i'm gonna evolve into a new person, abandoning my past self and my mistakes to become a new and better version of myself.

Hong Kong-based Ani Phoebe presents the inaugural episode of Parallel Worlds, her new monthly show, which is dedicated to the multiplicity of dance worlds and floors around the world. This mix is a homage to the Cosmic Hole dance floor of @cocktaildamore, a dance floor that features slow to mid-tempo, burning, psychedelic, genre-burning tunes and creates an infamously hazy K-hole.

Marc Kull, a Berlin based DJ and founder of the cassette label TROPFEN. The label is closely connected to a bar in Neukölln with the coordinates W-58. TROPFEN's releases to date present condensed soundtracks from selected sundays with a diverse mix of guest DJs.
This mix is an attempt to tell the story of what can happen between the first sip of beer and the last drop of whiskey on such a sunday night.

Like the mix series, our shows are built from the music we personally find therapeutic — the sounds that soothe, relax and inspire us. This month's recording is an honest reflection of that brief. Recorded separately for once because of hampered plans to broadcast live from the Skylab studio in Melbourne, it's me for the first 60 or so with Patrin coming in for the final half. His mix begins with American jazz band Weather Report and pays tribute to hip-hop icon MF DOOM with several of his best samples. Ideal for early mornings or late nights, we hope it's as relaxing to listen to as it was to record.
