Sangoma Records presents the long-awaited, full-length debut album by Cyk from Brazil, who is also an integral part of the project Alchemy Circle releasing their smashing debut album with Sangoma back in 2019. For this album, Cyk drew inspiration from ancient tales and rituals that he encountered, infusing them with his distinctive take on the psytrance sound. The tracks comprise elements like traditional instruments, tribal rhythms, and enchanting melodies, creating a sonic landscape that immerses listeners in the essence of traditional knowledge and spirituality. In the context of this album, "Lore" delves into the rich tapestry of Brazilian folklore and traditional culture exploring themes that are deeply rooted in history and mythology. Hunab Ku was the Supreme Creator God of the Mayan pantheon and represented the solar calendar, the balance of forces, perfection, universal consciousness, but also the gateway to other parallel dimensions.

The Symbol of Hunab Ku
Hunab Ku was depicted only through his symbol, but had no actual visible form. He was associated with two other deities: Itzamnà, his son, and Huracan, the god of wind and storms.

Hunab Ku is also a symbol analogous to yin and yang and resembles the shape of a spiral galaxy; Hunab Ku is also the symbol of the center of the Milky Way: the "galactic butterfly."

The Mayan calendar was entirely based on the position of the "galactic butterfly," since the fate of humanity depended on it.
