London-based producer Gesture delivers a dynamic display of mutated breaks and beat wizardry on "Check Sum" the 12th release from Redstone Press. Pseudopolis rounds off the four-track EP with an acid-drenched, free-party reminiscing remix.

On "Check Sum", Gesture channels weighty, distorted bass hits, wobbly breakbeats, and tense, hazy pads into a dark sonic offering. Wonky, textured atmospherics drift in, while ghostly Hip Hop and R&B vocal fragments weave in and out. "Grizzlin" introduces echoing dub vocals, skeletal breaks, and blurry organs before diving into a melting pot of spiraling amens, pummeling subs, and aquatic percussive elements.
