This is my debut EP « VVIDE » (<a href="www.audio-kult.com" target="_blank">audiokult-records</a>), a collaboration with <a href="https://soundcloud.com/veronique-j" target="_blank">Veroníque</a>, talented cellist from montréal. Theoric Proximity, the debut album from Jus Jam, explores themes of connection, distance, and the subtle spaces in between. Each track contributes to a cohesive, dreamlike journey that reflects his personal and emotional approach to house and electronic music.

Placed early in the tracklist, Midnight Marauder stands out as a key moment in the album. Balancing early house and deep house, the track is carried by a warm, rounded bass line that drives the groove, while a brass sample adds a boom bap flavor rooted in Jus Jam’s hip-hop influences.

The atmosphere is airy and nostalgic, evoking the feeling of drifting through a summer city at night—heat lingering in the air, softened by a light breeze. Drawing on inspirations such as Space Ghost and Ron Trent, but also the spirit of groups like A Tribe Called Quest or Black Moon, Midnight Marauder encapsulates Jus Jam’s vision of house: music that grooves, that transports, equally at home on the dancefloor or in more intimate, reflective moments.

The Berlin based Tom Peters is already known in the international club scene and plays regularly in Berlin and across the globe. His own street-fashion T-Shirt label "Tom Peters World“ is a well-respected brand within both the fashion and music scene for bold, in-your-face slogans on life and love. As a producer, he is established with releases on Kompakt and Get Physical. His new deep-house one track EP "Hand in Hand“ on Be Crazy Music shows now his melodic Ibiza grooves.
