No stranger to Phobiq, Kalden Bess unleashes 4 tracks of unfathomable inspiration in a style that is truly his own.

Starting out with the title track, the steamrolling rhythm section propels sinister synths and fuzzed-out riffs to the manic edge while soulful vocals become the perfect balancing contrast. "Awkward" continues in the same vein with more vocals of the haunting kind, eerie notes and a mysterious vibe throughout.

"Studio 54" completely flips the script and stomps wildly, relying solely on the power of the drums and the cleverly sparse arrangement. The EP closes with "OG", where things get more hypnotic, the snares are crackling and the basslines are grinding.

It happened, that once I finish a track, I export it converting it into one file that can be played , I loose the authorship of it, I no longer remember if I really made that track, I mean of course I do but ...it feels like it‘s not mine anymore and now belongs to something else.
That thing specially happends with this track, the harmony tells experiences about my life, Its probably the track that most get personal and close to my innerself.
As per usual I dug into my photobox and I found this guy sitting on a bench, with a mysterious and foggy landscape in the background.
His hair looks like he has been thinking and touching his head at the same time, just like many artist do when they‘re dealing with something, half crazy, serious and with a foggy mysterious background.

For our new CLR release two artists from the CLR family went on individual missions to remix the MOTOR track "Hyper Lust" (feat. Billie Ray Martin) taken from the recently released and critically acclaimed album 'Man Made Machine'. The first is Monoloc, a very talented DJ and Producer who is currently finishing his debut album for the upcoming release on CLR. The other is Juan Pablo Pfirter, an internationally respected Techno ambassador from Buenos Aires who has been working with the label for years. Each one of them has taken this honorable task as serious as anyone could imagine, and each one of them has created a unique, exiting and dignified remix of the original track.

Monoloc’s take is a rather slow half-beat approach with a thick and well-defined bass, chopped up vocals and innovative effects. It shows much of his characteristic trademark style and has a simultaneously pleasant and slightly alarming vibe. Pfirter delivers the straight forward, yet atmospheric and groovy Techno mix of this EP, and just like Monoloc, he does it with excellence. The choice of sounds, the highly creative programming and the quality of the mix are simply faultless.

The album release of 'Man Made Machine' has crowned the launch of CLR’s new sub-label CLRX, and like the recently released remixes of the title track by Radio Slave, Black Asteroid, Chris Liebing and Luke Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems, this brand new release also pays massive respect to the work of this pioneering Techno duo by the name of MOTOR.

Adam Beyer’s original track starts with a heavy bass line that is a sure-fire, grooved out killer. The infectious vocal hook and melody line supplies the extra force to make this track one of the strongest releases on Truesoul to this date. Nic Fanciulli’s take on ‘Take Me Away’ uses a rhythmic melodic synth-line before bringing in the vocal to maximum effect. Alan’s darker approach gives this release an extra dimension, using deep-pounding toms to create a cool, stripped-back vibe with warm stabs and hats to match.
