"Never Odd or Even" - a palindromic mantra that perfectly encapsulates BMSS Records' holistic and now legendary approach to Psychedelic Trance.

Label head and chief pilot Boom Shankar presents the mind-altering conceptual double compilation project "Ailihphilia" (meaning a love for palindromes - words you can read forwards and backwards). Reflecting the label's dark/light dichotomy, LEVEL I is the "Moon side“, featuring a heavy psychedelic vibe; the forthcoming LEVEL II is the "Sun side“ featuring more trance-oriented anthems. 

Together they form a jaw-dropping 4-hour collection: one project, one journey, one narrative - a mirror of our souls, and a reflection of the deep psychedelic realms of the human psyche.

From the deep to the uplifting, old school to new school, EU sound to US sound, this monolithic trip spans every aspect of the Psychedelic Trance scene, and crucially gives the involved artists an opportunity to showcase the full spectrum of their sound by featuring several tracks within the project.

In this sense, Ailihphilia is a true reflection, a mirror, of BMSS' unique modus operandi - an approach that unifies both established artists and legends with new talents and up-and-coming artists, an international crew of producers, DJs and other misfits who fly in the face traditional sub-genre boundaries, focusing instead on true creativity and a profound dancefloor experience.

LEVEL I is constructed in a similarly mirrored fashion: building up and climaxing, before concluding in the smoothest of landings. After all, what goes up has to come down!

The ambitious project is wrapped-up with a similarly holistic approach and attention to detail. Micky Noise (aka Wizzy Noise) at Plus Six Mastering applies his trademark analogue techniques to ensure a consistent balance and maximum sonic impact. 

On the design front, Miro Moric aka Sketch inc. has delivered two unique custom-made covers which perfectly encapsulate the concept.

With Boom Shankar at the helm, BMSS Records once again push the boundaries of the Psychedelic Trance scene whilst firmly acknowledging its roots...an approach perfectly encapsulated by the palindromic mantra “Never Odd or Even".

You will have a trip to the world of Zirrex, in which he demonstrates his multi-faceted vision of music and unbridled creative energy, performed to the highest level of sounding. The album tells its unique story with a rich, high-quality and diverse sound.
The origin of this music is strong dancefloor oriented 120-145 bpm psy-trance with developing uplifting tunes and stylish progressive tones. It is а unique and special work from best Russian Trance scene resident. His music is rich, full of complex feelings and colors - true delight for an experienced listener and a total blast on the dancefloor. This new album appears to be more experimental than other ones as it consists of tribal elements, live rock guitar parts, vocals, inventive percussions and sonic manipulations. It is a dancefloor killer with strong kicking grooves and developing sounds. "Ritual Dance" is а total musical surprise combined with original Psychedelic style.

No Way Back and Until We Meet Again were born from confinement, channeling the tension, frustration, and urge to break free that came from weeks of forced isolation. Strictly Physical emerged during a personal transition, transforming from raw industrial energy into something unexpected and introspective. B2 closes the EP as a dreamlike journey where synths speak louder than words, guiding the listener through darkness to discover emotion, movement, and the human pulse within sound.

Striking like a drop of acid in a Virgin’s brain, K.AS.
( Vadim T.) is one of the OLDEST leading project of the psychedelic trance underground. Belorussian born, he moved to Israel in the 90’s to settle down. In 1998, he got involved very fast in the electronic music scene when he had his first psychedelic experimentation’s (Another Dr Hoffman disciple).

”Kalilaskov AS” project started in 2000 and for the next 25 years, his time and efforts were spend on creating original sounds and trying crazy stuffs. It’s now the time for ”Kalilaskov AS” to make you experience this crazy new vibes design to take you to another realm of awareness. After his first release on ”NAbi-recs”, Vadim’s music , as a computer virus, sprayed among the listeners and became very quickly a new standard of quality in Israeli psychedelic trance.

Introducing Kalilaskov AS (or Vadim Tcherkashin to his friends). Kalilaskov means ‘the kind one’ in Belorussian and the AS stands for Atomic Station. Why, you may ask?

Well, Vadim is a survivor of the devastation wrought by the nuclear meltdown at the Chernobyl reactor in the former USSR, living very close to the disaster as it happened. Soon after the catastrophe Vadim and his family moved to Israel where he first got exposure to the psytrance scene, and where his new friends dubbed him ‘the kind one’!

At the moment, Vadim is concentrating more on other styles of music and not just Psy Trance.
