Following on from Sister Zo's 'Freak Shift' EP on 3024, the New York based artist makes her debut on London's All Centre label with four tension building club cuts. The lead single, 'The Hanged One', leaves you on the edge of your seat with its half-time rhythm and clicking rim shots.

"No caminho da praia, o mormaço derretia os prédios diante de nossas retinas. Distorção de metal, vidro e concreto produzida naturalmente. Chegando à costa, o impacto do vento exigia um esforço extra humano para caminhar. A maré havia subido excessivamente na noite anterior, infestando a faixa de areia de lixo e um tipo de alga de coloração escura, conhecida como Hijiki. Falávamos sobre a influência da rotação da Terra sobre o movimento das marés. Pensamos que o descer e subir das águas salgadas funciona mais como uma metáfora do que em um sentido vetorial ligado à inundação. Por um lado, há a relação do movimento da Terra e as águas. Por outro, a dança dinâmica das luas, dos sóis, dos demais planetas. Tudo isso importa. Sobre a zona arenosa, as algas pretas se confundiam com os resíduos deixados pelos humanos. O aspecto viscoso de um pedaço de plástico preto se misturou com um dos organismos fotossintéticos formando aquela que parecia a criatura mutante mais bonita que já vimos. Depois de sucessivas ondas de calor, esses tipos de seres se tornaram cada vez mais comuns. Polímeros plásticos plantas que se acoplavam a seres marítimos  mortos, formando os monstros de nossa época. O bicho permanecia imóvel a não ser quando interagia com a água salgada, que tentava o arrastar para o mar escuro infinito. Seus tentáculos se agarravam ao chão como raízes. Parecia o pulmão de uma baleia, o coração de uma máquina, um pedaço de tudo." - Guilherme Ferreira

The name "Desintegrationkurs" is a critical joke with the "Intregrations Kurs", a mandatory course of study of German language and history that most immigrants in Germany have to take in order to get a visa. One has to pay for this course and complete it within a certain time frame, or risk losing their visa status.
Intregation? No Gracias!
Cultural Resistance through the process of Desintegration.
It's time for Europe to stop racism, colonization, and genocide. Let's desintegrate our ears as a tatic for building community, respect and $upport the diverse voices from the global South.

Pindorama X700 is the new album from Brazilian artist @Kalozin , exploring contemporary electronic rhythms like Pisadinha, Brega Funk, Arrocha, Baile Funk, and Tecno Brega. Kalozin deconstructs these styles to create fresh, innovative sounds using samples, broken beats, field recordings, and synths. The album's name combines "Pindorama," which means "land of the palm trees" in Tupi and was the name for Brazil before colonization, with "X700," referencing a popular keyboard model. This fusion evokes a cybertropical utopia, blending tradition with futuristic elements, celebrating the vibrancy of South American electronic music, and offering a critical view of colonial legacies.
