Techords' 30th release comes from Colombian artist Andres Shockwave. Known for his dedication towards the old school deep house music, it is with great excitement to welcome him with an original EP. Kickstarting the release in an infectious way is the title track 'Density', where the smooth pads and funky guitar riff work perfectly with the heavy bassline and minimal house inspired drums creating this way a warm feeling. To top off this 2-track original package, b-side track 'Dream' keeps the same energy with the groovy ecstatics playing their role on this deeper and chord driven cut.

"Terreta” is the way we affectionately call our land, Valencia. That is why this compilation of House and Tech House music is named “Techrreta”, in honor of our beautiful city. 

Our goal with this VA is to unite Valencian music creators and those artists who have a connection to our city, in order to raise funds to help those who need it most, rebuild animal shelters, provide food and water to those without supplies, offer clothing and repair homes that urgently need help. 

On October 29, 2024, flash floods devastated much of the southern and western areas of the province of Valencia, along with several other regions in Spain. This catastrophic event caused storm surges, collapsed bridges, and left thousands of people stranded on roads and streets, ultimately leading to a death toll that is now estimated in the hundreds and tragically continues to rise. 

Homes, animal shelters, businesses, vehicles, fields, personal property, and families have suffered immensely from this disaster, an event that surprised thousands of people on the streets, going to and from school, work, and daily life, with little to no warning. Ten hours later, dire alerts came through our phones, leading to even greater tragedy.

“Terreta” is how we affectionately call our city, our land, Valencia. That is why this compilation of House and Tech House music is named "Techrreta”, in honor of our beautiful city.

We are incredibly grateful to have a community of artists and music-making friends, both from Valencia and other cities and even countries, who have generously donated their work to help with relief efforts. Our hearts go out to all those who have suffered loss.
