As a label, Kalushi's main bedrock is one focused on Africa and its electronic music potential. This in itself echoes a vision swarming with soul and pulsating rhythmic energies. 

With years of contribution toward the electronic music scene both locally and internationally Kalushis founders bring with them a cynosure vision harnessed toward adding a vanguard of African Dj's, producers and electronic acts to its stable and events

Tohier Samsodien aka Tee Sweat has been in the music scene for quite a while, DJing or just plain supporting fellow artists in their respective fields. Hails out of Mitchell’s Plain, Cape Town, when he's not performing, he spends his time researching different genres and continue to improve the art of not just selecting but inspiring through new sounds. Having spent many years playing at some local night clubs and events (alongside local hard-hitters). Besides DJing special events and promoting other up and coming artists, have had a lot of time to develop his sound. For him, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove, playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo or style. Don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing.
