Lane 8 Spring 2024 Mixtape

Have a cold but started to mess with fun delay effects on the #roland s-1 and t-8 to make an audience clapping sound effect, then worked with mimicking ocean 🌊 sounds again to close out a lovely melody as you’d watch a beautiful sunset.

Hate colds

I’ve been working on one melody for literally months, maybe even years. And I struggle to capture it in full, to time or I’m always plagued by the recording equipment failing.

I went for a photography hike on Valentine’s Day this year, when I came back to my car, I just pressed record on my phone. Knowing I had the guitar in the car, I decided to play it from the back of the car.

If I open this up in software to clean it up, I’ll want to re-record it yet again and when I’ve done that. It’s never captured.
