Catalyst is an acousmatic composition shaped as a journey between light and darkness — a cycle of emergence and withdrawal that mirrors the rhythm of life itself. The piece unfolds through fragile wood creaks, resonant pads, spectral whispers, and fleeting melodic traces.

Light is rendered as sonic clarity and openness; darkness arrives as distortion, weight, and disorientation. Through these contrasts, Catalyst invites the listener into a shifting acoustic landscape where sound becomes both material and metaphor.

From the roots of Spatial Plants’ mind-bending original, Blacklite’s head shaman Nukleall recharges the circuit with an interstellar remix bursting with crystalline psychedelia. Some years after its first bloom, Vesna sprouts again, morphing into a fresh psychedelic creature ready to set dancefloors ablaze. Pumping grooves, glowing sounds and a twist of Nukleall’s signature wizardry make this track unique and full of positive vibes. Aera Moon is a Brooklyn-born, Haitian-American singer and songwriter whose music bridges cultures and genres. Raised between Haiti and the U.S., she embodies the spirit of the modern era—crafting thoughtful, soulful, and inspiring songs that resonate across borders.
A former J-pop ghostwriter and K-pop trainee, Aera draws from a wide range of influences, including cinematic power ballads, 70s disco-funk, Haitian Kompas, alternative rock and the technical precision of Asian pop. Inspired by her late mother’s eclectic taste in music, fashion, and art, she continues to reinvent her sound while staying rooted in authenticity.
Her debut single, Moonlight (Love) (2021), released in both English and Japanese, including her follow-up, Shiroyama Sakura, an upbeat spring-inspired J-pop anthem, showcase her coquetish style and universal themes.
