Living in a Dream is an 11-track album that captures the essence of music from the golden age of Swing. It was recorded on August 27th & 28th 2018 at Canterbury Music Company, Toronto. With songs written in the 1920’s to 40’s as well as Kalya’s original compositions, this album revives the old vocal jazz tradition and sound. Kalya’s singing is nostalgic and dynamic, and has been compared to the vocal stylings of Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, and Sarah Vaughan.
