HH-C is a group of artists of many faces and various influences , their music tends to resurface the styles and trends that have been at the very origin of hip hop and for which they have great admiration. They encourages street art, sampling, musical research, and the expression of all forms of feelings thru art and most particularly thru music composition. HHC varies between styles without ever locked into them : "Sometimes we likes to create unhealthy melodies accompanied by dark beats more like the East Coast style, sometimes we prefer a more festive sound with a funk legacy in it lil more like the West Coast style -you know the G-funk spirit which seems to disappeared- and sometimes we just found great old songs that inspire us, and we try incorporate little parts of 'em in our productions but you know we do not feel like thieves, although no samples are used with the consent of the rights-holders, this is not a vulgar music plagiarism or a reappropriation as we hear too often on the radio, where they feeds us with so much recycled musics stripped of their origins souls without never quoting the actual genesis of songs, maybe they simply don't know it, but we think the success should always go to the one that does not simply had 'taken his song over someone'. Many pieces that are classics yet sometimes has an origin that is totally unknown by most of people and it is in this sense that HHC does not feel like thieves but more like guys & girls who are in charge of a cultural legacy that we had to transmit to the next generations because we think that musical education should go thru sampling and thru it's history, a lot of young people would be disconcerted to realize that most classics comes from jazz, funk, rock, classical, movies OST, world music or even electronic music classics dating back over 50 years. A few of them really seems to be interested in the roots of all those musical genres that they are today the heirs. However, it is in knowing where we come from that we know where to go, and in that sense we mention each sample we used in our music and encourage every artists to do the same thing, we hope you'll see there some ways to deepen your culture and musical research"

Sullyvan 1er is a sultan from outer space, he's the successor of Vernon III who was a tyran. Unlike him, Sullyvan Ier govern with wisdom and want his people to be happy, so he makes music for them.

Sullyvan 1er is the first alias I use to release stuff, it's the first stone, the childish part of my works. You can hear the progression since I started.
