Since then I have played at Wharf Chambers and Stig of the Dub nights. Expect everything from Augustus Pablo to Iration Steppas! Kami-O (he/him) is a Glasgow-based Scottish music producer and DJ. His formative years in the Scottish scene had frequent outings to spaces where grime, drum & bass and dubstep could be heard. While at college, he managed to get his hands on a pre-owned DJ controller and a copy of FL Studio. Since then, Kami has been creating and championing underground electronic music whilst building a varied arsenal of tracks to draw from in his performances. 

After several singles and EPs, 2021 saw the release of his debut album 'Biren', an exploration of his Indian Heritage and a project dedicated to his late grandfather. This was his first body of work to get major recognition in the wider scene and several vinyl EPs and a sophomore album followed. This exposure culminated in his signing to the acclaimed dubstep label 'White Peach Records' in 2024, where he has so far released two records, the 'Clash' and 'Pepper' EPs. These projects have received press in publications like The Herald and The Skinny, as well as plays on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. With recent headline shows at venues like Sneaky Pete's, Stereo and Bongo Club - plus with more productions in the pipeline - Kami continues to showcase his selections and build on his momentum.
