Finally working the Volca Drum back into the mix after not having used it for a little while. I like the lofi effect it gives the drum beat. With this track I leaned a little heavier into the Vital VST I've been experimenting with, also used the old minilogue and microfreak. Thanks for listening!

The track was created in spontaneous collaboration on 13 November 2022 (initial composition, recording and mix in MAGIX by Roberto B; and subsequent additions, arrangement, recording and mix in GarageBand iOS and final arrangement, recording and mix in Logic Pro X by Alex M), and posted here on SoundCloud on 18 November 2022 (by Alex M), before the album as a whole.

The artwork cover for the track is based on a photo taken by Alex M on 28 August 2022, cropped and annotated by Alex M in MacOS Preview on 15 November 2022 - in coordination and agreement with Roberto B.

Well i wrote this song for the Rolling Stones if they should ever get around to listening to it,  i have always been a big fan so i decided to mix a bit of Gospel, a bit of Blues and Hey presto a new song for Mick and Keith. In true Keith Richard tradition i took my Bass E string off and tuned the guitar to key of G. The main guitar is the Bridge pick up on the Les Paul giving a nice rounded sound and the lead is the bridge pick up more giving a more trebly and cutting through the mix a bit. No processing all clean as they sound. My vocals have a bit of Saturation and distortion and Compression to give me that bluesy sound, hope you'll like it and Mick & Keith if your out there let me know how i did..

QUESTIONS (Lyrics)

'Over The Magpie Bridge' is a Mixed Genre track combining elements of Soundscape, fusion and Celtic influences. The piece was inspired by the thoughts that when one crosses over a humpback bridge, we are leaving the old and reaching the new.  So I have named it 'Over The Magpie Bridge'. The Magpie Bridge is a figment of my imagination, but represents leaving the old year and "ringing" in the new year for example. We would like to think that the "new year" will bring with it, good health, happiness and peace. So please join me in this excursion 'Over The Magpie Bridge'

I like metal (all kind), epic music, electronic music, ethnic and world music.
I like to try new things, I like to discover new types of music.
I mainly compose hybrid music. I try to blend ethnic, electronic and classical music together.

I'm French, I speak English and Japanese, both so poorly but I'm still happy to practice. I'm shy but I love to connect with people.
