This year I asked to play a sunrise set and the good keepers of Diane's kindly obliged my desire. This set started at 3am and ended at 6am. I wanted to explore a joyful playful dark energy until the sun began to rise. Includes minimal favorites that I rediscovered in my collection after schlepping all the records to the new place, and some wild vortex inducing stuff that I had always wanted to play at Dianes at the darkest hour before the light started to filter through the trees. Strangely I was listening to this set when I had a near death experience last month. I feel lucky to be alive, and also relieved and grateful that K-rAD always does such an incredible job recording these sets at Dianes that will far outlive my existence in this current human form in which I feel lucky to still occupy. Sending lots of love to all my friends and family that sent me so much positive energy- it absolutely helped in my healing this month. This set is for all of you. <3

Always going the unsuspected route with no compass to guide us back onto the normative boulevard, Irakli takes us on a bumpy ride across jagged proto-technoid topographies, fractal-like foldings and mind-expanding new horizons of musical possibilities. The result is - as per the man’s high-flying standards, an ode to techno’s core values of innovation and fearlessness, developing the kind of pioneering mindset we miss so much these days. Kyoto-based DJ and producer Yuddy Ash has been steadily finding his voice over the past few years. Following a series of online appearances and a collaboration with silkscreen. on GIFKIKKER, he now joins the Delayed with series with a mix that favors movement through restraint, using rhythm as a thread rather than a tool of impact.

Across sixty-one minutes, it unfolds with a steady pulse, subtle shifts, and a lightness in tone. It’s a late-night listen that moves from deep low-end flow to airy percussion. The transitions are soft, almost invisible, yet the direction remains clear, a quiet reminder that less can still move plenty.
