A song I wrote dedicated to Clint McElroy and his amazing character Merle from The Adventure Zone. This song is ever so slightly explicit and not at all spoiler free, so please listen with discretion.

The Tale of the Plant Cleric

This month’s mixtape theme was ‘Adventure’ so you know I had to do a tribute to The Adventure Zone podcast. This mix is over 30 continuous minutes of good good tunes with funny clips from the show woven into it. It roughly follows the show from beginning to the final lunar interlude, but it’s still spoiler free. Underwater Temple, Underwater Monk

The new material features the band not only doing what they do best  - singing songs about feeling low and getting high - it sees Sticky tighten their focus, and songwriting, and come up with a bunch of  psychotic surf dub love songs. 
They have turned up a bunch of songs about the bands four members recent break ups (this band breaks up in cycles apparently). Co-incidence? We're not really sure. Shortly after the band started touring each of the members went through a break-up and this bunch of songs tells the story (albeit through glorified glasses). The release continues the development of their charismatic genre mash sound. Psych, surf dub garage: Caress your Soul smashes it all together.
