18 månader senare är denna fortfarande en av de som spelas oftast i vårt hushåll. Maestro i toppform! 🙌🏻

Hard techno

Den här mixen får man kalla för en remake. Jag gjorde den först i februari 2020 för Forced2Dance´s DJ-tävling där man kunde vinna en spelning till Owl-festivalen. Det var precis innan pandemin bröt ut. Sedan satte COVID-19 som bekant stopp för det mesta resten av året. 
Jag döpte mixen till Lucky 21, helt enkelt för att det var 21 utvalda låtar. Den blev 40 minuter lång, men jag har sedan dess känt att jag velat utöka mixen och göra den som brukligt för mig på en timme. Så nu har jag gjort min remake, som numer innehåller 31 låtar där de 11 sista är nya. Alla låtarna är från 2003-2007.

Jag gillar verkligen den tidiga eran av hardstylen. Genren har på allvar brutit sig loss från 2000-talets tidiga hardtrance och gör sitt avstamp med ett hårdare sound, som har en del influenser från 90-talets hardcore. 

Ett roligt minne var när jag skulle spela på Nermins födelsedagsfest, där han hade hyrt en MC-klubbs lokal. Jag började med trance och psy. Knuttarna gillade onekligen inte musiken. De bad mig flera gånger att byta men jag svarade att jag blivit ombedd att spela detta. När jag switchade till hårdare musik och Max B Grant´s "Hardstyle Champions" började dåna så bröt de musiken... De fick nog haha.

En annan kväll så inledde jag mest på skoj med hardstyle när Page-Danne hade fixat en mindre fest ute i skogen. Jag hade lyssnat slaviskt på "Puta madre", "Cocaine motherfucker" och ville se folkets reaktioner. Det blev ett jäkla drag!
Sen blev det psy trance inpå småtimmarna med en massa grogg, och kvällen slutade med att jag däckade på "dansgolvet".

Legendary Awesome Early Hardstyle Mix - Outburst 31

Det här är en mix som jag tänkt göra länge, men det har på något sätt kommit annat emellan gång efter annan.  När jag väl satt mig ner med låtvalen så har det inte känts helt rätt. Under min sista semestervecka så tog jag några av låtarna i annan ordning, samt lade till några nya. Helt plötsligt flöt det bara på och mixen var typ klar på en dag.   

Den hårda och snabba industriella technon upptäckte jag egenligen på allvar ifjol och den får min puls att slå lite extra snabbt. jag har mest "mesat" till det med dark och minimal techno tidigare. Inget fel i det alls, men när techno når +140 BPM så händer det något i mig. Det har säkert med att jag är uppväxt med den tidiga 90-tals hardcore-musiken med dess industriella inslag.

I den här mixen startar det det hela vid 152 BPM och slutar i 160. I mittpartiet får vi också lite inslag av Schrantz (även det en galen genre).
Intressant låt är YOUNES JAMIL ”Walküre”. Istället för att ha 32 beats i en slinga, så bygger man en låt som har 25. Var det en medveten utmaning för DJ´s?

Tuff musik kräver ett passande omslag. Därför kändes det som ett naturligt val att Dragomir Mrsic skulle pryda det!

Easel was inspired due to the direction we envision for future Phase Objekt's projects. Where the music consists of modular recordings of dark and melodic synths, coupled with grungy and distorted drums off boxes like the Elektron Rytm, while incorporating a driving and aggressive appeal.
While Easel focuses on tailored bleeps and bloops developed from euro rack modules like the Buchla Easel, other productions will consist of atmospheric and drone-like qualities, appealing to the 'space techno' palate. We hope you enjoy our evolving journey of sound.

The true meaning of Christmas -- desperate last-minute shopping -- is the subject of this holiday-themed comedy. Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a mattress salesman with a bad habit of putting his work ahead of his family. His son Jamie (Jake Lloyd), who wishes Dad would pay more attention to him, wants only one thing for Christmas -- a Turbo Man action figure, with all the accessories. Howard promises both Jamie and his wife Liz (Rita Wilson) that there will indeed be a Turbo Man under the tree for Jamie on Christmas morning, but come December 24, Howard realizes that he hasn't actually bought the toy yet. Seemingly it would be no great problem to head on down to the toy store and pick one up, but it just so happens that Turbo Man has been the hottest ticket of the holiday season, and literally thousands of parents are scrambling for the last few action figures. Howard then spends a hilariously hellish Christmas Eve madly scrambling from store to store in desperate search of a Turbo Man.
