Joe Davies commended for the depth and quality of his 2023 album »Shields in Full Sunlight« on 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 and earlier work with 𝗟𝗲𝗵𝘂𝗹𝘁 and 𝗞𝗔𝗡𝗡 under the @djassam alias, now partners with 𝗖𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗱, one of the heads behind the @fastcastle imprint. The duo has been cooking up a dozen tracks, focusing on spontaneity and fun over perfecton that instantly embody the core spirit of the label. From those sessions, the first three dubbed out analogue house jams now come to light.
