While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.
The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. Of the distinct identities merely remains the ethereal, synthetic essence devoted to the group, and the common musical passion that leads it. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies. The potion obtained is irresistible, an ecstatic hybrid, prodigiously actual, that renders all the genre's diversity and dynamism.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

Following the release of the ‘Extraction’ and ‘Hydraulic Pressure’ 12”s earlier this year, Adventice – the incendiary collaboration between DJ Deep and Roman Poncet, returns to Tresor.

While taking the groove up quite a few notches, and as per its two predecessors, ‘Exsurgence’ unfolds in three different versions around a common theme.
The ‘Main Mix’ opens into hammering chords yet taking a delicate turn into an synth-heavy refrain.

On the flip, the ‘Reduced Mix’ follows the same composition while playful and cinematic as the use of hihats add a skip to your step and pick up the pace. The ‘Percussive Mix’ and its rapid drum patterns, exude a fragrance of vocals triggering endless soundscapes.

With this new three track single, DJ Deep and Roman Poncet deliver a fierce package, another warning for what is still to come for the duo. Techno.

The duo make their debut to Drumcode Limited with a heavy, two track release. The EP showcases a mix of their talents and influences to create a moody, dark techno groove. The atmospheric EP is enriched with gritty reverbs and a deep kick drum and the slow, deep crescendos in each track create an intense sound. Mullaert and Siech prove themselves again with a powerful offering to Drumcode Limited.

Kanzleramt presents ‘Consistency Remixes’, a three track remix EP of as-yet unreleased Ray Kajioka originals, hinting at new material on its way soon from the Berlin-based artist and Kanzleramt mainstay.
The EP will land on vinyl in September of 2016 and features remixes from Detroit legend Rolando, as well as The Persuader (aka Jesper Dahlbäck) and Kanzleramt label-head Heiko Laux.

In October of 2016 Ray Kajioka will release his new album ‘Consistency’, the second LP from the Berlin-based techno artist. The 11 track release follows 2014’s ‘En Route’ and will be released on Heiko Laux’s label Kanzleramt, a label with which Kajioka has worked with closely for over a decade.

Consistency LP bears all the marks of a Kajioka release; a collection of deep, driving, groove-laden and synth-focused cuts. Heady grooves which leave little question why Ray Kajioka is held in such high regard among techno veterans, called upon regularly for remix honours by the the likes of Heiko Laux, Joel Mull, Pan-Pot, Elbee Bad, Alexander Kowalski and Marc Romboy, to name but a few. Kajioka’s reputation for faultless production remains consistent on this, his sophomore LP.

Coming May Joel Mull will finally re-join the Kanzleramt Family in a collab with Heiko Laux called ‘Rooter’. 
This is Joel’s second appearance on Kanzleramt after his very much loved solo 12″ ‘Reminder’ (ka127 12″ | digi) in 2006. It’s also not the first release of the two, as last years Drumcode limited release ‘Slight Munch’ shows. 

Joel and Heiko have been friends for over a decade. The depth of that connection is reflected in ‘Rooter’ as much of this release was designed and realised right at the kitchen table over breakfast or with a good wine while cooking dinner.
More parts of those sessions will be following on Parabel later this year.

Closely following the release of the last Borderland single, the focus returns on Transport, the last collaborative album by Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald. 

Long time friend and studio partner of Moritz von Oswald, Carl Craig provides a new take on “Transport”. Extending and stripping the original sequence to its bone, the illustrious Planet E president and illustrious Detroit proponent also summons a stepping drum sequence and a swaying array of moving delays. This 12“ edit is cut on the A-side.

The full version of Carl Craig’s remix clocks just above 20 minutes and is available digitally. Both are available to anyone who purchases the record, through the enclosed download card.

On the flip, DJ Deep & Roman Poncet rework Carl Craig’s remix, adding their signature grooves and myriad of tough drums, to full effect.

Tresor.298 will release on November 3rd on 12” vinyl and digital.
