James Curd, Adam Frawley and Mitchell van Kaathoven aka Holy Models are a 3 piece Psychedelic Daytime Disco band hailing from outback South Australia. Their work transports the listener into a dream type state, yet rendering them fully conscious. Their genre bending style allows the user to explore a variety of different feelings. ‘Swimming’ is a textbook example. 

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of releasing Freeform Five’s comeback EP ‘Weltareh’ on Eskimo. Today we are more than glad to present you the first Freeform Five Reform in a looong time. Big!

Dutch newcomers Tesla55’s remix reminds us of that vintage Chromeo sound, which you all know we like a lot. Fellow Aussie Rocco Raimundo delivers a trippy version that is tailor made for a lazy afternoon at the poolside. 

Swimming is the opening track from The Pink Collection, the first installment in a brand new Eskimo compilation series that will be out early September.

The Legend Of The Himalayan Shaman..
Mount Kailash is a peak in the Gangdisê Mountains, which are part of the Transhimalaya in Tibet.
The Transhimalaya is a mountain range parallel to the Himalayas. The highlands of Tibet and Nepal 
are said to be the home of the legendary yeti.

You ve heard of the yeti, the abonominal snowman ,That is offcourse an animal or pre human bieng that is
originally one of the shaman's god , real name is vanchakris , that means the shaman of the forest , so there
for no body will ever find yeti in the nature becuz you've to go in a trance and then you can find the yeti easily 
The vanchakri , forest man or forest shaman , he wears a skin of a deer & has dreadlocks in honour of his Lord 
SHIVA . If you wanna contact him you ve to put some alcohol offerings infront of the forests.

In twelve Himalayan villages, twelve “elder mystics” each dreamt that there is a connection between the yeti 
and extraterrestrial life. With visions to guide them, the elders lead 2000 people from their upland villages
higher into the mountains by starlight. At dawn, they sound bejeweled dungchen (long trumpets) to accompany the 
chants of 'OMM' by the monks who remain in the villages below. When the echoes recede, the elders sound a gong and
merrily continue their journey.

The travelers make music as they go. They cross a swiftly-flowing river in canoes, and pass through 
“the tunnel of Dead Spirits”, where they hear strange voices and other curious sounds. After braving a
fierce thunderstorm, they smoke a sacrament, resume their rhythmic music-making, and enter a trance. 
The music has a mysterious effect on them. The crowd of 2000 simultaneously shouts in joy. Carrying torches,
they arrange themselves into a giant mandala.

Their focused attention summons a shaman who levitates above them. The shaman, radiating multicolored light, 
performs an ecstatic dance. Beams and discs of light pass through the people, who suddenly understand the yeti.
The light fills their minds with poetry and music. Spontaneously, they awaken to the cosmic consciousness. 
The shaman shows them the yeti, who is a wise and compassionate extraterrestrial being. The yeti’s form changes 
to an elaborate geometric pattern, and merges with the shaman. In a flash they disappear, replaced with a vessel 
that can travel through other dimensions of cosmic consciousness.

Himalayan Yeti Dub

Hi this is a shortened edit of a set I perform with Ableton Live and my Voltaxe controller. It features music from Himalayan countries India, Tibet, Nepal, along with global beats and samples. It is a multitrack mix, when performed, I improvise the arrangement and effects so that it is different every time. It was originally created to be coordinated with visuals from The Sperm Whale team. I first played this on stage at the Rubin Museum for the Pulse electronic music festival which was curated by The Warper Party. The theme of the event was Tibetan medicine, many of the chants heard in this set are prayers to the medicine buddha.

As a scenario of whales communicating, immersing your mind in the ocean.
Where as my original concept imagined a Himalayan trek following a Sherpa,
accompanied by the Rag Dung horn of Nepal/Tibet:)

I was tempted to include some Buddhist chants as well, 
but now I´m glad I didn`t since its more open to interpretation. 
Either way, I always find it wonderful how sound, 
can transport the mind and piece together a story :)

‘Flight’ is the second single taken from Bloc4, the new album by German minimal ambient-electronica maestro Jumpel.

In contrast to the dreamy ambient-pop elegance of first single 'Blue Ceiling', 'Flight' literally takes off from the outset with its head-nodding beats and eerie synth pads. Chloe March's stunning vocal turn evokes the incandescent yet sinister brilliance of Curve's Toni Halliday on the Leftfield classic 'Original'. It's hard to know whether to dance or hide under the covers; either way, this beautiful track will richochet around your skull from the first spin.

Bloc4 centres around the elevated yet lonely world of a tower block, each track poetically investigating its multi-faceted elements and spaces. The songs were written throughout 2012, with ideas collated, reviewed, developed and remixed. Following the wonderful results of his collaboration with Chloë March on Europa single ‘Edinburgh’, Joe Dürbeck presented the ideas for Bloc4 to March and invited her to select tracks and develop vocal ideas. The March-fronted tracks, including first single ‘Blue Ceiling’ and new single ‘Flight’, are especially stunning – and offer a perfect counterbalance to the more melancholic, spacious instrumental pieces.
